    Another OT heartbreaker a la Syracuse wouldn't surprise me. Neither would us winning by 10. Neither would us getting blown out. No guarantees I guess. I will say this is a great game for us to use, you know whole "coach" thing to our advantage, since they don't have one.

    Would be get immediate playing time at Baylor? Because it would be hard to not choose a program with that much juice right now otherwise.

    Lose this game and without some dramatic turnaround, the season is pretty much one last bad loss from being over. They drop tonight and they’ll have no more room for error.

    Kenny Payne seems like a good hire, but I highly doubt with no real HC experience he’s in the conversation. Uof6 realllllly needs to look back to the Crum years and play some respectable basketball. Spoiler: they won’t.

    Honestly, this needed to happen. They have to learn the consequences of sleepwalking through games against lesser opponents just because they won a big one a couple nights before. I’m still fairly confident they’ll make the tourney and perhaps even make it past the first round.

    Same x2. Everywhere I’ve ever lived outside the state with the layperson I speak to, it’s: “oh you’re a Hoosier? Do you play basketball?” It’s the mascot, it’s the brand, it’s synonymous with IU. On the other hand, trying to explain Purdue to people is futile because they have no idea what their basketball team is. All they know is engineering and moon. OR they say “like Perdue Pharma or chicken?”

    You’d think with a school full of engineering nerds they’d have a fan base who could figure out a TV. Except I’d wager the fan ratio is 1 actual Purdue grad for every 9 fans who have never even set foot on campus.
