The schedule is one reason why I have been more disinterested this season.  I don't understand why we can't get some decent games on the schedule.  Schedule a home and home with a team like Temple or some other top mid-major teams.  Or better yet, schedule some mid-table major conference teams...at least they have a shot at being a tourney team...in addition to some top tier teams like Kansas, UCLA, Villanova, Florida, etc.    This team needs to start with a W...especially a road W.  Let's go Hoosiers!

  I have been banging that drum for 2 years now.  IMO he is our only hope.

Good win...the first 32 minutes were agonizing.  If they can play D like they did the last 8 they will win more games.   Hopefully it is the start of something. 

Great coach...a blow to the Big 10.   Loved his teams and the style of ball that they played.  Always played tough defense and great team offense. 

  Perhaps the reason that he sounded that way is because it is a team game and the team is under performing, even when beating down cupcakes, and if the team is under performing, then no one deserves individual accolades, even if those accolades are warranted.  

I take no joy in that victory.

  Note to Self:  Do not take defense tips from Tommy.

If we have learned anything...it is that coaching matters (see Michigan football).

As expected.  This may be the longest of all of the Tom Crean coached seasons. 

I was so jacked up when I saw this game hit the schedule (even inquired of many people to try to get tickets), but after the Maui debacle, I honestly don't even care, which is very, very sad.     I haven't watched a game since Wake (and my subsquent ban) and am debating if I should watch/DVR the game.  I think that we are going to get absolutely smoked, as Duke will take advantage of all of the TOs and our (nonexistent) defense will let them get to the hoop. Coach K is a master at his craft and will take advantage of IU's weaknesses.   What a sad, sad day.

Only 5 points back and I missed the Ohio St game...I am coming for you.

Finally...let the fun and misery begin.  

Opening Day tomorrow...to bad the Braves are going to suck...hard.

I have been talking to some family who are Kentucky fans...I know...but even they are hearing that if Crean leaves Donovan wants the IU job.

I know that this is a little off topic, but a lot of coaches say that Crean is a good x's and o's coach, but what are we missing?     Are we too knowledgeable of a fan base to recognize it (forest for the trees kind of thing) or has he been handicapped due to the turnover in the roster and he is doing the best that he can with what he has and can't recruit really as he wants given that due to the past it is more difficult to recruit the top kids to IU or is it something else?

What a great game.

The A-10 is a solid league that does not always get its due credit. I had season tickets at Temple for 3 years (when they were still in the A-10, includin the year that IU went to Temple and lost) and every game that we saw was highly competitive and always a lot of fun. Plus we got to see the Big 5 games and also got to the Palestra. Talk about a gym.

The A-10 championship game was a really good game. Much better than that crap SEC game.

I can't watch this crap anymore...the SEC is such a joke. I am switching over to the A-10 game...or maybe I should just head outside...it is a beautiful day on the Gulf coast...oh who am I kidding, I wait all year for this.

This UK team has to be the worst undefeated team ever.

But with Iowa's help, the Hoosiers are back in a 4-way tie for 2nd. Does this log jam in the middle prove that the Big 10 is good or bad? Can't figure it out.
