I don't know if Villanova is a legit #1 seed either (which is tough for me anyway given I have a connection to another Philly school) but having watched them a few times they have a good inside game, play great team D, and every player knows how to shot fake. My prediction, they are a 2 seed.

Perhaps we shouldn't judge the kid before he dons the candy stripes.  I am sure that a lot of us had doubts about the freshman currently playing for IU and look how that turned out.

Dating myself a little here...but I was on campus for the 92-93 season.  It was a great time to be in Bloomington.     All is right with the world when the Hoosiers are playing well.  

My bad...guess I looked at the picture too quickly. Like I said, I am all for upgraded/world class facilities at IU.

Don't get me wrong...I am all for improving Memorial Stadium and the other athletic venues on campus, but should they really be spending money on more seating in Memorial Stadium when their is no real demand (meaning that there are too many empty seats every home game)?

I would rather this team be under-the-radar/no one talking about them. 

Makes me sick to think of all of the talent from Indiana that have ended up in Carolina. 

How good does it feel to be a Hoosier?

Got to say, since Tuesday night, I have been looking forward to today. Nothing would be better to end the season undefeated at home, on senior day. When the Hoosiers win today they win the BT by 2 games...think about that...2 games...in November/December, I was just hoping they could finish in the top half. Enjoy the day...enjoy the game...and raise a glass in honor of this team.

I had the pleasure of being at Calbert Cheaney's senior day and at least one other. It is a pure celebration and a real chance for the faithful to show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication that they have given for the glory of ol' IU.

After the game...they are always after the game.

Going to be in DC Tuesday night.  Anyone know of good places to watch IU games?

Well...I hadn't really devoted a lot of time to figuring it out, but, here is my Q&D schedule re-vamp...they currently play an 18 game BT conference schedule and they would have to play 26.  You take out the 4 cupcakes in December and then you only need to fit 4 more into the schedule.  So...bring all of the teams to Indy or Chicago after Thanksgiving and 3 three days straight and then you only have one game to fit in.  I am sure they could squeeze that in somewhere.

Maybe they should go back to the pure round-robin format.  That would solve a lot, plus it would get some of those cupcakes off our schedule.    They could definitely start Big 10 play in early December, after the semester is over.  

Let's hope that this does not happen.

Got to say...did not see this coming after Maui and/or Duke...unbelievable accomplishment by the Hoosiers. 

So, Kansas wins the Big 12, has a 2.5 game lead with 2 games to go...does this prove how weak the Big 12 potentially is?  Or is Kansas just that good?

Got to say...did not see the second half performance coming. This team showed us a lot about the team that they are. Great 2nd half performance. Great win Hoosiers!

Tonight we learn what kind of team we really have.   Just win.

I love your passion for IU hoops and persistence on this topic, but with the season that the Hoosiers are having, there is little to no chance that Crean is getting fired after this season.  If IU wins the Big 10, he might be coach of the year.   My two-cents, when he does go, my pick is still Bill D (at some point, he is going to get sick of the NBA).
