  1. So what? We lose by 15-20. That’s what most of us expected? Sure it’s another quad one loss. Who cares. All the quad talk and whatever doesn’t mean anything. Eye test said it all. We don’t have a good win yet. We are over halfway through the season. I’m always gonna root that we do enough to make the tournament. But this team doesn’t belong. I’m frustrated we built this team while trying to win fans back.
  2. If you are going to play 8. Recruit 8 and pay 8. Get the best group you can. We have a load of money wasted, just rotting on the bench. A Reneau and a Bidunga changes everything. Or something similar. 2 useful pieces.
  3. Agree. They compete. Not a great roster on paper and they are out performing their abilities on the court this year.
  4. See it time and time again. You can feel the momentum then the undisciplined plays multiplies. If we don’t hit a few prayer 3s it snowballs.
  5. I wish we could get basketball rolling. Seeing these other venues rocking and rolling while Assembly doesn’t live up lately. Another sad feature of what IUBB has become.
  6. Told ya it was over. I’ve seen this team play enough after a couple games.
  7. DDV I hope is learning some hard lessons this year. Missing the tournament in his sons super senior year is certainly a start.
  8. It’s a 10 million dollar roster. Wilkerson 2.5. Bailey 1.5 Devries??? Conerway would be a guess but probably 750 to 1
  9. Without a doubt. You’d think the smallest, least athletic team in the conference would be disciplined and high IQ.
  10. Undisciplined team is not a sign of a good coach. This season is breaking me as a life long IUBB fan.
  11. Bailey has the wimpiest hands I’ve ever seen and Alexis has no athleticism. Our Big situation is disgusting.
  12. A blowout would shock me. This Miami team is good. A great QB, a good RB, a great WR. Good at the lines. Athletic on O and D. SMU was a badish loss but Louisville isn’t too bad of a loss. Beat TexasAM, beat Ohio State. Dominated the team they were supposed to. Our season feels storybook so why not finish it off but Miami is better than I originally thought. Their coach is a maniac though, I’d love for us to get him riled up.
  13. I see zero chance of staff shake up. Well paid staff, decently paid roster. We gotta be better, starting with our scouts.
  14. I feel bad for recruits when this happens. I wish there was an easy way to avoid these scenarios. The initial responses to this tweet from our fans were clever and funny, but the old heads addressing recruits over this is not the best look.
  15. What a great addition. Impossible not ecstatic about all things IUFB. Wow
  16. Talented. Probably means we are losing Cooper. Which stinks but we doing work.
  17. Full agree on the Mak stuff. I don’t understand it. My only guess is it’s a family member of a bench player not get run. As far as the fan bit? I think we are all fans posting in here. Moren set a high standard and built a solid fanbase. All the credit to her. When you build that with winning, fans get an expectation. If they continue to lose like this the fanbase will disappear again like it was pre-Moren. Im a little shocked we are as bad as we are. The youth argument is valid, but the staff built the roster with plenty of transfers. They didn’t get the right ones or ones good enough clearly. So this year becomes a write off. I haven’t lost faith in Moren, just disappointed in not being competitive and believe it’s more than age. We need more talent too. Not gonna be an easy flip back to relevancy.
  18. Brutal and kinda embarrassing season. Feel bad for Shay, and most of the rest of the team. They are competing. Just aren’t good enough. Miss the stretch of the teams we’ve had in the past. They were very efficient and tough. Bummer.
  19. They probably should but they are Iowa and we are Indiana. The supposed minimum expectation is to make the Tournament. Our team is treading that line very dangerously and not seen as a threat to do anything this year. That’s not the type of teams Indiana should be fielding on a year to year basis. Some say we have top 10 nil. I think it’s 15-25. Either way, with those resources we should be better than Iowa. Better than Nebraska. And better than what we are. Expectations are slipping and that is fine, I guess, because it hasn’t helped us either.
