Ok so back to the main point, there are many indicators that the B1G is strong this year as of early December. That can change, but it’s looking good so far. It’s a good thing that everyone is rated so well going into conference play, because there will likely be plenty of losses handed to the “better” teams. Yes, 7-7. Equally competitive with the other top conference. Duke will be favored in every single game they play this season. Also, note I said indicator. It’s a good indicator, not a definitive piece of evidence. Reviewing the teams the B1G has beat in non-con play thus far as well as KenPom ratings are two more indicators that the B1G is strong. You could also say that losses to the top B1G teams to lesser B1G teams is an indicator that we may not have many true title contenders. Make sense? Im young and didn’t come from a family of Hoosier fans. Didn’t even know about the Hoosiers till high school. I don’t think changes to our jersey will do jack, our brand IS tradition and doing things the “right way”, and I’m confident IU is headed in the right direction with Archie because he fits that brand and is a great coach. McRoberts unwillingness to shoot was why many including myself were worried about him potentially being a starter during the offseason. If he’s not confident and then you throw Smith in at the same time, you’re essentially playing 3-5 on offensive. People don’t usually make good decisions when they’re desperate. Complain as we might about football, there’s still more promise to the program in this decade than only other one other time in its history. Basketball also moving in the right direction. Couldn’t making drastic jersey changes also be categorizad under the desperate look at us category? Agree to disagree. Attention to detail will be seen more in how we play and win than the type of cross stitching used on the neckline of our jerseys.

There’s very little value add that changes to the jersey will bring. One side (the traditionalists) feel very strongly about maintaining it, and the other side is mostly apathetic to the jerseys.
