Hey mdn - you forgot to mention donations. I know you said it, but once isn’t enough. Donations seem to be the only thing McRobbie works for...... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

That’s not entirely accurate. Students you accept is 10% of the scoring. Outcomes is 35% of the score with the rest coming from other measures: https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/articles/how-us-news-calculated-the-rankings Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Indiana needs to improve dramatically as an academic institution, especially at the price point they charge. Purdue has frozen its tuition rates while providing an overall higher quality academic product. However, the renovations occurring around the campus are excellent and desperately needed. I’ve learned of at least one high profile event for IU he was supposed to headline that is now off the schedule... don’t think I’d be too upset if he moved on. Honestly, I really like what Purdue’s president has been doing. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Archie brought in one class that included Phin, Romeo, and Damezi who are all guys who can shoot and then added a supposed 3PT specialist in Fitzner that obviously hasn’t panned out. Phin has been a pleasant surprise when healthy, Romeo’s three has been non-existent till just recently, and Damezi is too much of a defensive liability at the moment. Archie has a defense first philosophy as well, and his offensive objective is to take it to the hoop and draw fouls. He doesn’t want these guys taking a ton of threes, but they should hit when they do. Perfectly laid plans and such.... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
MSU is a joke of an institution and should be shut down. Those scumbags who run it have no concept of reality. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Pipe down Debbie - there's plenty of room for improvement with decent and increasing talent which is a great opportunity for a young coach to make a name for themselves. -

Does he circle back, tail between legs, if he doesn't get it? I'm interested to hear some insight regarding our short list. -

You used the words “hoped” and “miracle” to describe a potentially successful roster, and I think we’re all discovering that whatever god you believe in isn’t a college basketball fan. This roster was absolutely not built for success barring shocking developments at PG and the 5. Juwan is a stud, but pretty ridiculous to expect that he man the entire post every game without tiring nor getting in foul trouble. He has no relief outside of Smith, debatably a perimeter player. Regarding Romeo, he’s been a treat. I don’t think his 3PT shooting has killed any of the joy of watching a future NBA forcefully finesse his way to the rim. Truly impressive abilities. Listen, you know as well as I do that one recruit missing a tourney won’t mean a thing. There will be reasons and there will be new egos telling this recruit they’ll be different. Also, as long as Romeo is drafted where he should be, no one outside of the IU fans will remember whether he played in the tournament or not. Life of a OAD. Wouldn’t see all these burger kids signing up for garbage schools (sup Washington, LSU, Bama, WKU) if playing in the tournament is really what mattered. To be blunt, those three guys might be solid upperclassmen, but they really don’t do much for a new coach as a freshman and sophomore class. All three needed some time to work into a rotation. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

People posting lineups with a walk-on and predicting a top 3 B1G finish is so IU basketball fandom it hurts. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

What about no proven PG, no 3PT shooting, and no real interior presence told you this roster would be fun? Also, if by a long time you mean 1.5 years, I agree. The Crean Goodbye Tour was truly horrifying. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Multiple people have shown why this statement is misguided and you continue to make it no matter how ridiculous it is. Who was he going to recruit 4 months before the season started? McKinley Wright? Sweet. Literally no indication he wanted to play here. Glad he’s having success at UC Boulder, definitely translates to the B1G. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

That game sucked. Embarrassing all around. The only thing more depressing is reading this board. You all need to find other reasons beyond just IU basketball to live. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
