  1. You bought into your degree as an investment in both experience and perception. A decline in rankings decreases the value of that investment from a perception stand point. People should be mad especially when all the BOT and McBooby care about is increasing revenue instead of quality. It’s also on the state of Indiana for reducing funding allocation to public schools. 3. Remember one month ago when everyone was panicking? That was fun. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  4. Nice! Really exciting get to add to this class. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  5. Meh could’ve been better Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  6. I just don’t understand what about Penix is making you uncertain if he’s better than a QB who couldn’t throw the deep ball and still threw 13 INTs. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  7. These are all true. I think this argument is a bit ridiculous. Penix is so clearly the best option. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. Our D playing 60% of the first half was due to 1) the two INTs and 2) them not being able to tackle First half was very poor. Loved how the offense recovered in the second half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  9. I mean, those are fears. I don’t think they’re based in reality. Penix kept drives alive with good pocket awareness, good throws, and some nice scrambles. I’m not sure what you watched, but it feels like we weren’t watching the same game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  10. You and Hoosierfan are really going all out on hating this performance. Kind of weird really. Can you admit that this offense has far greater potential and that Ramsey is not capable of everything Penix did yesterday? If not, we won’t agree. I’m hopeful and eager to see what happens over the next few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  11. Well, we won. So... see you next week. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. How did the offense kill our defense? Regarding the 18 points, we scored when we needed to score, executed a beautiful opening drive, didn’t waste opportunities, and pulled off some really interesting plays including a 2 point conversion. You’re trying way too hard to hate on this and continue to simplify it down to the numbers. It makes me wonder if you actually saw the second half, because there was plenty to be excited about. The team clearly has improvements to make, and the first half would have killed us against an OSU or UM. I also saw a young QB who didn’t let a couple early interceptions and drops by his WRs impact his confidence nor trust in his teammates. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  13. My only point has been that this offense has far greater potential thanks to how dynamic Penix is and that we have a great group of RBs. I certainly am not sold we’re a bowl team, but it felt pretty certain we weren’t last year with Ramsey and DeBord. I’m not sure why a few are already writing off the season after the first game. If you didn’t see the potential of this offense in the second half, I’m not sure what to tell you. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. Last year’s offense was limited and ineffective so.... Im talking potential here man. We watched one game. Did you watch what Penix did in the second half? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  15. Dynamic a better word? The Ramsey/DeBord offense was so limited. This offense is well rounded, and I’m hoping they tighten things up as the season progresses. New QB and new OC - I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will improve. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  16. Personally, I think you have bad taste. He’s a brat. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  17. People are just ready to get pissed again. This was the most electric offense we’ve seen since Sudfeld/Coleman, and it’s not even close. There was so much wrong with our play today, specifically on defense. A lot also changed this off-season in terms of coaches. We also didn’t see what we know Scott can do, nor did we truly see Sampson James. Overall, lots to improve upon in order to make and win a bowl, but I’m excited by this offense. DeBoer made some great play calls, and thank god we have an excellent kicker. Go Hoosiers. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  18. He’s just demonstrating how much he cares and his no BS attitude. This is straight forward and real. You all are fools. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  19. Outside of the two INTs (one maybe not entirely on him) this was some of the best all around QB play I’ve seen since Sudfield... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  20. He hedging already? Stay off the band wagon, you’re not welcome onboard with “Little Archie” Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  21. This defense has been highly volatile today. We’ve seen some real good pressure and then we’ll see terrible tackles. I’m hoping they’re going to tighten things up, but definitely concerning. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  22. Love seeing that he didn’t let the interceptions shake his confidence Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  23. Offensive play calling is literally night a day from DeBord. Penix allows so much more versatility on this side of the ball. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  24. Penix has looked really solid this half Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  25. Love seeing that open to the half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
