    I sat within a stone’s toss of the field for 3 hours today and still don’t believe what I saw. Nebraska had no answers and it was evident from the first drive on. I wasn’t yet convinced that the sky was truly the limit for this team, but I’m there now. Win them all and leave no doubt.

    I think it takes a highly ranked preseason team with huge expectations to really bring juice to this type of event. There hasn’t been one with real buzz since 2012-13 when they had to turn people away at the door. The production also stinks and has really gone downhill.

    Our RPO/quick game will help a lot here. Doubt we have Rourke doing too many standard drop backs. I’m very curious to see what we can get going on the ground though.

    It might have been said, but the regular season tips off 3 weeks from tonight. IUFB being good has really caused basketball season to sneak up on me this year. A welcome surprise.

    I haven’t done any digging on who, but I’d bet you’re better off finding someone in the archives and reaching out directly to them. Those general university department email addresses can be a catch-all that aren’t really monitored.

    Cig let his hair down a little bit today on the Mcafee show and it was phenomenal. He’s hilarious.

    I also think he thinks that. But he thinks that until he doesn't and those things move fast. At the same time, like you said, I believe we're ready to pony up to be a serious program because that's the only way to financially thrive as an athletic program right now. I really am just trying to enjoy the ride this year, but these things naturally come up and they're fascinating to follow.

    Cig is a master at creating his talking points and sticking to them. Every interview he gave between being hired and the start of the season was a copy/paste. Never take a coach at their word when discussing their current job. It isn't a knock, just reality.

    Night games suck for everyone! But I’d make a special exception for a national TV sellout against those turds.

    Counter to the counterpoint: Though my official BTB location is “Robbie Hummel Sucks, Actually”, I’m 90 minutes away from home games and am tired of 11am Hova time kickoffs. Cig would tell you that we’ll beat their a$$ regardless.

    I was never a Dexter (the player) fan, but man it was ELECTRIC when he somehow beat MSU up there in maybe the ugliest/strangest football game I’ve ever seen.

    Dexter Williams engineered a wild comeback win last night.

    A sweat-free 217 yards. He was halfway to his line after 1 quarter lol. Just give him the Heisman and keep it moving.
