Joel perfectly explains my reasoning behind no longer being interested in being the plucky underdog getting dissed by the AP poll. Checking in at 11-13 in the original CFP rankings would be really non-ideal news.

It's an interesting discussion with Juju, and really nuanced. A lot of positives and negatives to giving this specific kid a ton of cheddar. I think I'm probably fine either way it shakes out. One thing I'm not worried about, though, is the QB room in general with this staff. With or without Lewis, that room is going to be strong. Lewis/TJ/Cherry, TJ/Cherry/Young Guy, Old Guy/TJ/Cherry, or some other combo will most likely get the job done. There are other rooms with much more concerning depth after this season.

It's been a handful of years since I was in EL, but I believe the visiting section is in the northeast corner of the stadium. There was a chunk in the corner at field level, and above that in the far north section of the 2nd deck. Sections 4 and 105, or thereabout, upon a quick google of the seating chart. Those things can change pretty often though. Really nice stadium (in a really crappy campus) and a great atmosphere. Should be a blast.

It really is amazing. We've been awful (last couple years), pretty bad (right before and right after 2019-20), pretty good (2019-20), and now elite all in the short time since Wilson's tenure.
