  1. Should we be allowing Ken. St. To shoot over 70 % so far? (No need to answer)
  2. Points in the paint a it even with 15 min to go. We should be running them off the court as they are only playing 7 guys!
  3. 6 point lead how about that 48-42? Bryant 2-5 FT!
  4. Just saw the Kentucky replay and the "Wat Shot!!":))
  5. Yes the Hoosiers need to take care of business with the mediocre BIG schedule. These upcoming wins will not impress you and me but guess who else it won't impress-The Committee! So the win over ND looms large so far. The Hoosiers only get a chance several times during the regular schedule to grab attention of the Committee and must be prepared for nothing but victory in those instances. As far as rankings go it will be extremely difficult to make meaningful gains outside ranked teams because of the league's overall strength . Beat PU!
  6. Does the football program have a guy 6'6" - 6'8" with some good high school experience that loves to play round ball in the off season? If he has a strong body and can block out and not afraid to mix it up ( no "Olay D), is in running shape it might be worth 5-7 min a game breather for starters. Let's face it, part of the genius defense of CTC was simply to wear ND down. I think that conditioning program is starting to take its toll on opponents already. I thought it would be late January when the body begins to feel those cumulative effects that we might see the superior conditioning at work. Point is if we have a hard nose football player with basketball skills and desire it should be considered IMO.
  7. Cuban though regardless of public comments, does know what a good basketball product and program should look like so take heart all good people.
  8. To me it appears that we might be differentiating ourselves in the conditioning department. In this game in the last 10 minutes on both O and D our guys looked liked thoroughbreds on the loose. I realize that mo was in our favor and adrenalin had kicked in; TB may have been the exception as he hasn't learned to manage his hi energy output yet.
  9. Yes he did no doubt . In the 2nd half Crean took the game from Brey in the coaching game. I personally feel Brey gave the Hoosiers good bulletin board material by saying that by far ND best team in state, that they play better than the rest of the tourney teams in the Fieldhouse, etc.
  10. . Old Fart are you sure you were at the supermarket there in line
  11. . Gelon was shadowed entire game. They accomplished their mission!
  12. . Jeff Rabbjohns just told me just now in a tweet to my ques to him: "Definitely subdued 2nd half as well as the Q & A "
  13. He may have wanted to just get out of Dodge and go see his kid play tonight as he had a game.
  14. Mannerisms, stern, not his normal self. Quiet, matter-of -fact, pre-occupied look mainly.
  15. No this was different tonight. I noticed it at the end of the game then mentioned in the game thread something must be in his mind. Then again it was obvious both with Fisch I thought but definitely in his presser after the game-something going on there.
  16. "Long "Gray Line that is, a reference to West Point grads.
  17. . I sadly agree. Did anyone catch the interview or the podcast of Dan Dakich interview of Coach K. (Grad of "The Ling Gray Line" class of '69) Wow, the last 6 -7 minutes on leadership will make this an instant classic IMO.
  18. Straight south of Syracuse NY near PA/NY border.
  19. IPFW helped pad some excellent stat records tonight for the Hoosiers though
  20. 18 turnovers with a cupcake IU extension.
  21. Priller in the stat book with a personal:)
  22. The networks won't generally cover sibling contests they consider are more like scrimmages or exhibition games.
  23. Wow! That's hard to beat. In fact several never were....as the legend grows:)
