I've heard a couple of rumblings about a Bloomington/Ellettsville local being offered a walk-on spot next season? Anyone else heard this? Cooper Bybee from Olney Central College (IL) is a shooter from the looks of it. Here's a highlight video I found (the first minute or so shows off a little defense but it seems his sweet spot is behind the 3pt line)

Any chance Devonte (or any of the others who declared) actually don't come back? I don't think any would be drafted, or even invited to summer league, but is overseas an option for them at this point? I can't imagine a season with 3-5 open scholarships during the summer prior.... It's a slow Hoosier News day, just thinking out loud here....

the kid looks like a great shooter. i know this is a highlight reel so it would show him off but form looks good, seems athletic, seems like a solid walk-on for our current needs!

Not sure where you got "be happy or get lost" .... i said support the program through the ups and downs .... some fans just want to celebrate the good times.....and be constantly negative in the down times ... never hopeful ....

I don't think anyone has ACCEPTED mediocrity. Let me ask you, as a fanbase, what can we do to reject it? We have no control over the program....Should we stop going to games? Stop buying merchandise? That'll show them! What should we do to reject mediocrity?? Are we protesting outside of Cook Hall? No, we support the program through the ups and downs .... if you don't want to, then head out of here and find a new team....

I remember at the end of the 2003-2004 season, I had about enough of Mike Davis, my dream list (as I discussed with my college roommate at the time) was Thad Matta (Xavier), Mark Few (Gonzaga) or Rick Barnes (Texas) .... there may have been another coach or two on that list but those were the main ones
