The closer it gets to game time the more anxious I get about this one. Should be a win. Should be the easiest of the next four games which makes it almost a must win. But I expect Northwestern to pack it in and make us shoot over their length, kind of like they did to us in 2014. Hopefully the team is ready for them and comes out swinging rather than letting Northwestern throw the first punch like they have been letting other teams the last few games.

if you don't think last years team improved idk what to tell you man. They ended up top a 70 defense on KenPom after switching from Crean's matador style. The turnovers went way down as the season went on and were no longer an issue. The team just did not have the firepower to hang with the top of the conference, but still finished 6th overall. As for the Rugters game, IU was blowing them out in the first half and blew a lead. SO, actually they were in it from the start

your prediction of 8-9 wins in NC and 12-13 wins in the BIG is hardly squeaking into the tournament. The BIG is loaded this year.

Im curious as to your expectations for this team coming into the year? Not saying you can't be critical of the team's turnover and free throw shooting issues because those are valid points. But still curious as to what you expected from a win/accomplishment standpoint.

Gross effort did nothing positive look at his stats. 4 t/o so did others shut down Mann collected 5 rebounds besides not scoring the ball more he was instrumental in that comeback to take the lead but u wanna criticize his efforts. His shoes was slippery he changed them that definitely helped him not turning it over. The t/o late in game hurted but not reason we lost. He did a lot of things well but to say he gave no effort what game were u watching. It is pretty comical how she comes to Nojel's defense anytime his name is brought up in discussion. You can talk bad about any player on the team but better not bring up Nojel, or mama gonna get you. Nojel should have stayed in the draft (dws). Him coming back this year is only causing his draft stock to fall.... or dare I say, slip...

Yeah I am not sure what the starting lineup will be or if it will change at all. But the slow starts to games has got to stop. Every game but the Marquette game and maybe the Montana St. game this team has looked lethargic coming out of the locker room.

I am still in a wait and see approach with this team as I felt it was a 20-22 win team going into the big ten tourney. I still have confidence that they can get there but the last few games have been tough to watch. I feel like the free throws are what they are and are not going to improve so we will have to deal with it, unfortunately. But as for the turnovers I hope Archie can turn that around. He did it last year so there is proof he knows how to get that cleared up. If he does I think this team is still top 3-5 in the big ten.

I don't expect a win tonight but I hope it is competitive. I also hope that Romeo shows out. I hope he goes for 20+ and outplays Duke's big three. I could definitely live with that.
