First, Would you rather be "right" about Archie all along? Or would you rather him succeed and IU start winning like we all want? Second, you're giving yourself WAY too much credit if you think people are upset that YOU were "right" about Archie all along. I mean I think everyone is on the same boat that he needs to make the tournament this year. Where have you seen anyone say anything different? The fact that fans believe he needs to make the tournament this year doesn’t mean the administration does. That’s a separate issue altogether. But on btown banners, the consensus is he needs to make the tournament this year or likelihood of success is very low. He can still make the tournament, realistically. Thanks for sharing Chris. This is kinda where I am at too. Things will get interesting depending on who they hire as the new AD, but either way he will still get four years which I believe is a very fair amount of time. Hope he can get it done, because firing and starting all over is not gonna be fun.

I so agree with all of this. But he said we have players continuously chucking up bad shots and it has been a problem throughout Archies tenure. I don’t get it. I’m not seeing it. From my understanding it isn’t a particular cutoff date. It is actually the amount of games. I was listening to the podcast on the brink and they had Bart torvik on. He has his own rankings which I encourage everyone to look at because it is a cool site. Anyway he says that the data takes into account the last 13 games. So until a team has played 13 games, last years data will still be accounted for. But each passing game replaces the 13th game. With that said, Purdue hasn’t done much one way or the other to fall from the top. They have fallen right in line with what Kenpom has predicted of them in each gsme and therefore they haven’t gone down in rankings despite the record. Again this team takes 17 threes/game. That is good for 320th in the country. How does that equate to everyone acting like they have the green light? THIS team does not have shooters. So by this logic, literally every shot is a bad shot because the person taking it is not the right person.

I said other than Green though. And like Stuhoo said, he has the ability to create his own shot. I'm not a huge green fan by any means but he can do that and has a knack for it. But he also has boneheaded shot selections i Know. Again, I am asking who on this team chucks up bad shots? Just because this team cannot shoot does not mean it is taking bad shots.

Green had a couple of bad shots last game and that is just who he is. But other than Green, who takes bad shots? from what i can see our shots are open shots, they just don't go in. I have never thought our shooting issues were because of bad shots, just bad shooting. I mean this team only takes 17 threes a game. Not sure they are chucking them up.
