Exactly, we just need to be patience and wait a bit longer. Woody is a winner and will get it done. What Davis, Sampson, Crean, and Archie did to this program will take a lot longer than a few years for Woody to turn it around. Pretty sure there hasn't been a new coach to come into a program over the last few years and do better than Woody. Just needs the time.

We only missed on one portaling player though right?We didn't want the others and we can't go off just missing on one transfer. Woody is going big (or something) and he's a closer. Add something about Cupps being a recruiter. There are plenty more players in the portal that can help us win next season.

One second, need to jot this down in my Rolodex (do people still have these things?) I didn't even know you brought it up. I simply posted my perspective on it like almost everyone does on a message board. Everyone "cheats" to an extent. Quit complaining and win games. (this is not directed at you rather to coaches who want to complain).

Why bring it up? There are avenues to take if he wants to report it. I know I should just fall in line because it's an IU person saying it. I'm sure we've never done something similar though... There are still a few on here who believe any program ever with a pulse has cheated and IU is clean. People did and do complain.. was my point.

That was my point? I remember a few years back when Cal wasn't getting it done at the previously high level he had before and started complaining about Dook. I wonder why? You can't control what fellow students are or aren't doing. You can control the effort you put in and the results you get. The student who understands and applies it will be much better off regardless of the grade they receive which is another conversation we could have.

Pros and cons to this. If they deny it over the summer there is a bit of a roar and it's over. If they deny near the season there is more backlash over it. I truly hope the staff has a good feel to what is likely to happen.

A little late to the discussion but this dichotomy was discussed in depth on a podcast I was recently listening to. Perspective 1: If you love the institution you won't criticize Perspective 2: You criticize because you love the institution and what it could/should be All of us here love IU basketball but have different perspectives. Issues arise when one perspective isn't tolerant of the other. I have inside information this won't change and if it does this platform will become extremely boring.

My sources told me they would inform me within a day of Ledlum committing. They didn't say anything about today but I'll check back.

You know who complains about "cheaters"? The ones who aren't getting it done. Learn the game, play the game, be the best at the game.

We're "relatively" close to signing the first ever interstellar recruit. We believe they're demanding more in NIL but really not sure that's what is being requested. It's possible we find out on a Tuesday. More updates to come.

How about we get some players that compete and we win something? How awesome would it be to show recruits we have X number of regular season championships, Y number of conference tourney titles, and Z number of Final Fours over the last 5 years AND we prepared a bunch of players for the league. Cray to think of it in terms of actually winning. *We need to land the player before we've already developed him into a high draft pick after one year under Woody.

That's a really solid haul for IU. Are we thinking Ware plays WR and Ledlum TE? IF (!) they're announcing soon I think the odds increase they're coming to Btown but it's not over until it's over.
