  1. Wow, Suds is off...
  2. BTN2Go is awesome...
  3. Nice short drive after the fumble recovery.  Howard was dragging some of those defenders!
  4. Let's make that fumble count!!
  5. Is that Terrel Owens...?   We're not good at defense.
  6. Going IU on the TV and Oregon-MSU on the Apple Cinema Display! As others have stated, I can see Howard and Redding getting a lot of attempts. I hope Suds is on a bit more with the deep ball.
  7. Over/under 500 rushing yards for Elliot in Memorial Stadium
  8. Hahahaha   Open and close the game with a pick 6
  9. I can see it both ways in this scenario but...   Why not kneel on first down to force SIU to call TO and give them one less opportunity on their last drive.  On second down run it up the gut.  If we score good if not they use another TO.  Now, we either score and they're down to 1 TO or we're sitting 3rd and goal at the 2.  They have 0 TOs and less time if we do score on 3rd down.  If we don't score run the clock down and kick the field goal.
  10.   Maybe, hopefully, with those players returning it will allow Mangieri, Rayner, and Shaw to play at a higher leve.
  11. 13-1 the boys come up a little short of their goals
  12. It's game day biznitches!!!  First step to a bowl.
  13. Was that a highlight video...? It very much matters whether he is shooting 43% against good vs. okay competition. If he shoots 43% in the B1G then we can talk. I wish nothing but the best for this kid. I hope he gets to IU and sets the B1G on fire. However, I'm not sure he'll even be around for his junior year to see if someone is right or wrong.
  14. Weird how as they've gotten better players over the last handful of years they've gone further in the tourney. That's not taking anything away from Bo Ryan.
  15. I'll most likely be there.
  16. Even with early success from Bryant, Holt could be the key. If Holt gets increase time and is successful how likely is it we land Davis? We have yet to see a Crean team at IU feature two bigs. My fear is we lose Davis to Zona because there system is better suited for two bigs on the court at the same time.
  17. Ummm, translation for "Off the rip?"
  18.   Just trying to find the goal post.  :scratchhead:
  19. What has Yogi done that makes him a stud? He's been the leader of a team that has finished 8th and 7th the last two years seasons.
  20. Hollowell, Patterson, etherington, and Davis were all an hour away. That didn't go so well....
  21. Is there a list of players that are/aren't fair game? Is there a list of players that do/don't fit the system? Is there a list of in-state players that didn't understand the tradition and what it means to play for IU? You blame Sheehey for not carrying the team as a senior leader. Like it or not, Yogi was also a leader on that team. He then followed that up with a 7th place. Is he a bad fit? Does he understand the tradition? Did Oladipo understand the tradition or did he just have the personality to get better? Did Davis understand the tradition? He just said F it, I like my pot? Can these examples be used or if it doesn't back your viewpoint then they can't be used?
  22. Can Yogi take any of the blame...? He's been a leader of this program, from Indiana, and he's finished 8th and 7th without Zeller, Oladipo, Watford, and Hulls. How about Davis and Patterson? They understood the tradition so much they got kicked off the team... I'll take an Oladipo and Watford all day everyday. Sheehey played his role perfectly. He was never built to be the type of player to lead a horrible outside shooting team. Can I say that or no because he was from out of state? Give me a Vonleh too. At least he wanted to spend his year of college ball at IU. IU isn't the program it used to be and the landscape of college basketball has changed. (It pains me type that) Maybe with a different coach IU can return to picking the best instate high school players and win championships.
  23. ????   They finished dead last in the B1G in 2013-2014 no?    They had a roster filled with players from Indiana or the surrounding area. T. Johnson - Indianapolis R. Johnson - Indianapolis Hammons - Gary Stephens - Ill Scott - Ft. Wayne Davis - Ft. Wayne Smotherman - Indianapolis Peck - Indanapolis Simpson - Chicago   That's 9/10 players on pu's roster that year from Indiana or just over the boarder in Illinois.  Why didn't they get the B1G?  After all that's 90% of their main rotation that is from Indiana/Illinois.  They should know the B1G.   Now, IU won the B1G in 2012-2013 that didn't understand the B1G because they weren't from the area. Zeller - Washington Oladipo - DMV Watford - Alabama Hulls - Bloomington Sheehey - Florida Yogi - Indianapolis Abell - Kentucky   That's 4/7 players who aren't from Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois but they won an B1G championship without knowing the B1G.  How is that possible?  Heck, throw in Hollowell, that's still only 50% of the main rotation from Indiana.  Just imagine what they could have done if they actually understood the B1G?!
  24. Didn't pu finish dead last in the conference a few years ago with mostly Indiana and the surrounding states players?  Did those players understand the B1G or nah?
