Senior leaders don't have to be your best players or even rotational players.  They can be the leaders who get the team together for outings, for extra practice, push talented younger players to get better, be a voice of reason before driving a vehicle drunk, etc.  The excuse of being the youngest team in the tourney is dumb.  We're the youngest because players didn't like the lack of structure, the coach, the dynamics, or they were simply Creaned.  It's dumb and there is a pattern of it not working but let's get up and run into the wall again.  yay!

  When has the offseason ever gone smoothly?  Expect the unexpected.  Maybe he's trying to do Stevens a solid when he heads for 'Bama and a few players take off.

I wouldn't say giving up 82 points is great defense... They played better defense in the stretch that they weren't hitting shots.  I would guess Carolina still scored ~1.2 PPP and that's not good defense by ND.  To each their own though.
