Yeah, he's just that Rodman/Ben Wallace kind of player who looks for the cheap shots. In the few games I've seen he's done something in each to make me say "why?"
Yeah, not sure you can make a decision on one play. Dakich made a comment earlier in the B1G season that he needed to cut that crap out. It's hard fouls, mouthing off, continuing after the whistle blows, etc.
I think it's a trend now. He's had several flagrant 1s this season as well. I haven't watched enough to call him a dirty player but he's been referenced as one by announcers.
We definitely need a guy that "plays angry" on this team. I don't care if he will be a frosh or not, natural born leaders can change the attitude of a small group in a heartbeat.
He sounds like the perfect kid we need with this team. There is plenty of talent on the team but I've yet to see one player step up and demand his teammates to focus, compete, and play better. I would love to see a frosh Bryant lead this team. I love to see us land him.
How? Wouldn't they have to clean house to bring him in? I thought they could honor their current commits but would have to drop down to 10 scholarships if they were to sign TB.
If we do happen to land Thomas Bryant how do you see the bigs rotation? Do you think it sends Perea to the bench? I feel like coach would have to promise Bryant a starting position to land him. Could coach change his style to incorporate a starting lineup of TB at the 5 and Perea at the 4? That would give us some serious size to protect the paint and attempt to punish teams by outrebounding them.
They were on a 25ish game win streak before they lost yesterday. I'm not sure if that is worthy of a ranking when you're beating LSOP type teams.
Northern Iowa is playing turrrble.
Really think we need to win two in the BTT. Minnesota/NW and Maryland to have a chance at the dance. Although I think we can win those two I don't see it happening.
Not sure where to put this but I forgot how hilarious Twitter is...

It's safe to say that no one has ever asked either one of them to dance. Ever. @PurdueSports
Knew I was leaving someone out. Just think of the development in practice these guys could get. Bryant could get some good practice against a long, thing 7' in Thon or an uber athletic, long defender like HMP. I'll come back to reality soon.
