This! IU was sent by the NCAA to clean the East regional of the dirty programs! Down with the tarholes!! IU only has to be better than UNC for one game and this is that game!!!

Not sure, I've seen too many players get injured letting go early. The only part I didn't like was swinging all the way back.

Duuuude, we need to find a way to keep him instate and wearing the candy stripes.  Romeo is crazy good and could go a long way in locking down the upper tier talent in the state.  Do some work Chuck!

  But it's fun to think about.  If Janks leaves Hawaii it better be to IU!  haha

  CWat had a better outside shot but Janks is better at the dribble drive or posting up.  He is versatile enough you could even through some high-low in with OG cutting on the weak side, RoJo or JBJ replacing.  A second unit of DD, JMor, and Hartman wouldn't be bad at all.  Fun to think about.

  It appears IU is finally upping the non-con schedule.  IU gets KU, UL, an ACC opponent at home, and possibly an Big East opponent on the road.  This is a schedule I've been asking to have for awhile.  Now, if we can replace those 250+ RPI teams with under 250 RPI would could have a solid non-con SOS next season.

  Janks doesn't have the lower body strength that Max does but who does?  haha  Janks does have some post moves he could use against B1G 4s or backup 5s.  TB, Davis, and OG could guard 5s.  Janks as a stretch 4 in a power conference could be a huge mismatch.  That would also give TB, OG, DD, and JMor a slight different type of player to practice against for a year.

      Not sure if he would really transfer.  I believe he transferred out here from Missouri.  I'll work on it next time I see him down in Waikiki.  Is it wrong if I toss him an IU shirt or decal?  haha   If we were looking to replace Max this would be my first option.  He could play the 4 or backup the 5.  He would allow Troy, OG, and Hartman to rotate at the 3 while providing spacing as a stretch 4.  He would be a solid addition if he did choose to transfer.

  It was under the previous coach.  A few infractions including a player driving a booster's car, DOBO coaching the team, and some academic stuff.  He covered it up and then lied to the NCAA infraction committee.   Link

  If it were an isolated incident I would agree with you.  However, players kept finding their way into trouble with alcohol and weed.  One of those incidents included a player ending up in the hospital with a brain injury.  I couldn't care less about those other programs being compared to IU.  The fact is IU players were abusing alcohol to the point there was a SERIOUS incident and nothing was done.  Something had to be done and Emmit put himself in a position to take the brunt of that punishment.  You know how Emmit could have stayed with the program?  Stay away from those bad influences like he was instructed to do..

  They were doing their job...?   Look, I did a ton of stupid things when I was younger.  I was arrested for underage consumption under slightly different circumstances.  Those in charge of me made it very clear that if I were to screw up again I was gone.  There would be no ifs, ands, or buts.  Did it stop me from consuming alcohol?  No, it did make me think twice before consuming alcohol though.  I became more aware of who, what, where, and how I was going about partaking in illegal alcohol consumption.  Amazingly, I never got caught again and still had an amazing time.  I knew if I were caught in a position where alcohol was involved again that I had nobody to blame but myself.  Emmit put himself in that situation, again, and had to pay the consequences for it. 

  A needless power trip?  I guess he could have just continued to look the other way and let the players run the program.  That worked out so well...
