  1. I'm from Southern Indiana, I thought it was a Purdue-like agriculture course. Touche'. Get it, Touche'??
  2. I don't think the majority of people leave, I think the majority of student age people leave. I see it time and again and wonder to myself, "why did you come?"
  3. I go every year, and won't return without a scrimmage, 3,000 students in the hall won't do anything for recruits.
  4. Why don't we keep high school going another 7 years and then start college at 25, if that's the case? I'm not so sure it's brain development, or mounting evidence that your decisions were wrong, for people to "grow up". If you default on your credit card at 18, your next credit card you might use a little more responsibly, even if you're only 22 when you get it.
  5. A 19 year old might not know when it comes to a major the in's and out's of prerequisites and requirements, electives and such, so advisers help a kid towards a proper path. But when you sit in a sham class with no tests, no papers, no grades, you know it's a sham. When my adviser chose fencing for me, and showed my class schedule, that was my last trip to an academic adviser
  6. Killed themselves? You mean basketball practice and classes? LOL
  7. I think if he offers top Tier Hoosiers, then it makes them seem like an attractive option for mid-tier hoosiers, like Nunge, and the 10th best Hoosier is better than the 5th best Iowan, usually.
  8. Doesn't Vic have 7"8'? So that would make it Oladipo-like.
  9. And the Oladipo jump was Junior year, not Sophomore
  10. A rapper is fine, but no scrimmage = no Hysteria, because there will be few fans, the 2nd year.
  11. The free market is about following certain rules and regulations. This is about cheating and gaining an unfair advantage from cheating. People get real punishment from cheating in a free market system. Anyway, I don't want Indiana to get muckier than we've ever been. There are a lot of quality players that one doesn't have to cheat to get. (I think)
  12. That's why you make the punishment for all involved, such that it likely won't be worth it.
  13. My opinion? If you want to get paid, don't go to college, go get paid. If you want to go to college, you'll wait to get paid.
  14. That's what I was thinking. A know it all journalist is worse than a know it all former coach.
  15. For those who want a uniform upgrade. http://amp.si.com/college-basketball/2018/09/13/best-uniform-rankings-unc-ucla-duke
  16. Not sure if this is your question, but in the topic list, bold post titles will be those that have new posts that you haven't read and if you click the star at the beginning of the post title, it will take you to your 1st unread post.
  17. My apologies for the misspelling: UWE (Blab) Country.
  18. Ewe country!
  19. That's the way it should be, Indiana in front and some other university I don't give 2 craps about, pretty far behind
  20. Tell that to the UK surefire one and done's that weren't. You're a 1 and done if you're a 5 star, have a fair or better season, project well to nba scouts and gm's, and stay in the draft.
  21. Hey, ya get a gimmie, ya gotta take a swing!
  22. I guess it would be good to know if a recruit has so little personality, and such poor taste in women, that he would be a good fit at Purdue.
  23. I think that's what he inferred when he cut Purdue!
