    An NBA guy that was pretty lackluster there, and couldn't get another HC shot after he got canned in 2014.

    I won't spend a cent on IU gear until there's a new coach, I'm to the point even that may depend on if it looks like they were actually serious with the hire.

    I didn't like the Miller hire but I could see a possibility. With Woodson there really wasn't the possibility, this is what you get when you hire a person no one else wanted.

    Better question would be would they even grant him an interview considering he hadn't gotten another HC job since the Knicks fired him.

    The fact no one else wanted him to be HC should've told them do not pass go, that's a giant red flag. Either the only thing that mattered was him playing here 40 years ago, or their vetting was laughably abysmal.

    Definitely not. They were stupid enough to hire him though, they could've corrected their mistake at the right time and we wouldn't be here; instead they found out the hard way there is no roster Woodson can't underachieve with.

    Their whole "this guy should get too many years because the last guy got too many years" crap needs to end too. Giving crappy coaches more time just sets the program further back.

    Firing or step away saying he failed. He doesn't deserve to walk away claiming success when anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows it'd be a lie.
