I’m guessing that Jerome will get a whole lot more run than Damezi during their freshman year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

McBob. Especially if (IF) we get Romeo and can afford to have a non-scorer playing real minutes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

And who knows...we might get an unexpected happy surprise out of either Forrester or Moore as another big. -
If his lawyer can get him into a federal prison, the standards of operation will likely keep him safe. Assignment to many state prisons would lower his life expectancy considerably.

Final Four favorites? No way. But a rotation that included Romeo, Morgan, Smith, Hunter, a successful big whether it be Race, Jake, DeRon, or Moore, a successful guard whether it be Phinissee, Green, or Durham, and a high-end grad transfer or two makes us Final Four 'consideration-ish'. -

There is no question that there will be VERY high-level grad transfers out there after this year. There are EVERY year! -
Have never talked with a recruit's family, but some prisoners have given me the skinny over the years :)

Protective custody is often imposed at the request of the prisoner (via the prisoner's attorney). HOWEVER: Prisoners sometimes think that they want to be in protective custody, but after trying it they usually beg out of it quickly. It is VERY restrictive - basically stuck in you cell with no one to talk to, very little sunlight, a tray of awfulness delivered three times a day, no common television, no library access, no real canteen access, no real ability to exercise, no ability to incorporate into prison culture, etc, etc. For most, the chance of, and occasions when other prisoners attack them is still preferable to protective custody, especially for long-term prisoners.

I'm assuming that since McBob has already said he'll be back next year, it is probably with a complete understanding that if a scholarship spot is open, it'll be his. -

Well... out of a 14 player roster (13 schollys + McBob, who has already said he'll be back), we are guaranteed to have a new player in place of: RoJo Newkirk Priller Freddie Collin CuJo spot Add to that: the odds of losing at least one more player who doesn't see a prominent role going forward are quite high. That would leave us with approximately seven new faces in the 14 spots. And that's okay! -

If ND Kendrick HAS real intel, he would probably say something like "...that's my gut feeling...have no intel" If ND did NOT have real intel, he would probably say something like "...that's my gut feeling...have no intel" -
(2018) PG Robert Phinisee to Cincinnati

A GREAT Rob Phinissee interview: Exactly what y'all are hoping for in a respectful, intelligent, personable leader for the future. Lots and lots and lots of IU talk in the interview. Including his reaction to Romeo's big game last night at the 1:05 mark.\ -

You're Old, but you're perceptive! -
So true. Might need a little patience, though. It'd be nice if this year allows Archie to develop a real sense of the winning pieces he has to move forward with. Currently, I believe that those are Juwan, McBob (within his role), Justin Smith, and hopefully one or two out of: Race, Moore, a more mature DeVonte, and a "1,000 jump shots per day over the summer" Durham. Add to that Phinissee, Hunter, etc, etc and THEN our patience will either be Rewarded or Exhausted
