They're trying to keep their players from jumping ship. The players met and have stated that naming Padgett will be helpful in accomplishing that goal. However, this is a theory that serves the interests of Louisville's status quo, and as Peter Sellers once so eloquently put:

^^ "Here kid...put on this IU shirt and DON'T take it off. Ever. Or else." ^^ "And while you're at it, take off those mutherclucking Adidas and put on these off-white nurse's shoes. There's cameras everywhere around here!" "And stop trying to punch Race with a left hook. We might need him too someday." -

That's not why people call you crazy. It's because... you crazy.

Sayeth Clifton Moore: "I think I need to work on my coordination. I hit a growth spurt and sometimes my coordination is off." Pretty funny stuff from a very likeable kid.

Archie was on staff with Sean and Book for two years. A long time ago, but it has jus-a-little to do with Archie.

Well...yeah. But in the context of this week, and based on the source not being some kind of random is my lover (like I seriously love him so much) tweeter, I thought it was kinda interesting.

You know, it is a certified fact that Jaquan Lyle fully cooperated with the NCAA on UL's Hookergate. A straightforward "tell us and you get immunity" deal. And that's not all he got from his time at UL; that picture is out there of Jaquan sitting on the hood of his shiny new Mustang from the day he committed to Louisville.

It says "Sometimes there's a story that's even too big for TheLair to break. Massive bombshell for basketball. Not sure when."
-
BTW, that LoboLair tweet is only 20 minutes old. They are the New Mexico version of Inside The Hall, and they've been engaged in some good investigative reporting in the past.

Yup...Oregon football and basketball are likely bribing players too! :)

And the wealthy woman in the park that has her purse stolen is "mostly at fault" because she won't willingly share her money with the guy that robs her? If anything, the NBA is in some degree at fault for the one and done rule. BUT, the rules are clear, and the schools and players/families know what they are. A player doesn't want to play NCAA basketball (which, by the way, provides free tuition, room and board, books, meals, and more @$$ than a toilet seat)? Do what Brandon Jennings did and go play out of country for full pay immediately.
-
Without Question! Those who not NBA-bound, and therefore are not worth bribing Those who are truly ethical Those who come from real means (aka the families with medical doctor parents and the like) The Jordy Hulls of the world Cody Zeller Yogi Ferrell, James Blackmon Jr. Now, Thomas Bryant and Noah Vonleh?...I can only hope that we're okay, but Dakich wondering about them is completely appropriate.
