Is it me, or does the concept of a “blackout” used to express displeasure by wearing black shirts not really exist in any other circumstance that I’ve ever heard of? And while I wasn’t there and have no idea as to the extent of the situation, to get the inference that a “blackout” to send a message that some wanted the black coach out is not a stretch. Well, our roster for next year is most certainly not set yet. But even if it was set, I would probably take a freshman Hunter and Phinisee + a redshirt freshman Race over a very good RoJo, a serviceable Freddie, and three other seniors who did not help on the court even a little. Add to that continued maturity by DeVonte, Al, Juwan, and especially JSmith, and we should be at least two or three games better even if we didn’t add anyone else.
