In a way it makes sense. He'd be a late/taxi squad add in the NFL at about $225k, and would make quite a bit more at IU while having a ton more fun and finishing his degree. Would be an NIL-stay in school best case scenario. Worth noting; if we have Marsh, Becker, Cooper, and Livingstone (Wow), it's not unlikely that Morris, Bond, and/or Chandler would be portaling.

Maybe the funniest game finish I’ve ever seen. Nate Bittle, who looks like a tall 60 year old meth head sleepily throwing the ball away repeatedly in the last minute. Terrible freshman Lino Mark with the Sideshow Bob hair playing like a tiny fast car with no steering. The refs? OMG the refs. Wei Lin, who sucks, throwing it at the rim every time he touches it. The terrible announcers treating this like the last minute of the Super Bowl. Pikell is gonna stroke out.

A less analytic good sign? Getting votes in both the coaches and writer's polls this week. Beat Maryland and win at home against Nebraska and we should be borderline ranked. Whether Pharrel Payne plays for Maryland will have a whole lot to do with whether this takes a happy path.
