  1. "But coach! If you just put me in an NFL game and let me improvise I will crush it!" Ahhhhhh... no.
  2. The fun part of each of these hyper-talented players is watching Kensucky try really hard and strike out again and again.
  3. My birthday is in May. On behalf of my wife, ask me next month.
  4. Safe to say that what happened on Kirkwood last night will not be helpful. Not at all.
  5. they forgot the obvious choice:
  6. There are National Merit Scholars with 1550 SATs who are concert musicians and developing physicists who can’t get into Vandy. He’s merely dumb for a football player.
  7. Dumbass: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/diego-pavia-could-have-used-an-agent-after-all
  8. Such a great young man. Captain our captain? Nothing but the best. You impacted a university, a state, and everyone associated with both. Godspeed.
  9. Tied the all-time school record with seven drafted (and that was in a 17 rd draft. One more to break it! Aiden, Lou, maybe even Hemby or EJ.
  10. Being a best dude on the team kind of guy got him into the fifth round.
  11. And just like that, I checked the Kentucky board to see if there was any news there, and they are saying that Trilly Donovan just put in a prediction of Mikka to Arkansas.
  12. I know nothing, but I’m thinking UNC or a longer odds chance of UK. Edit: I could also see Calipari being a good choice for him. Pope could be a train wreck. given that the kid has a tricky personality, Malone at UNC is probably an excellent choice for him.
  13. It’s true: The scout of media talking heads had Kaelon as a sixth rounder. But the scout of NFL teams, none of who want to pop for a player they can wait for? We have no definitive answer, but the perennial winning SF 49ers clearly thought that if they waited he wouldn’t have been there for them in the 4th round. THAT is the actual and only evidence. That, and film. Well, there’s also the actual team evidence of player interviews that revealed a stellar attitude and work habits. Oh, and a 4.45 time in the 40. And a 415 bench. And a 500 squat. So those things.
  14. I kinda think that Kaelon and Ponds have the best chance of being impactful pros, and that Sarratt and Aiden aren’t quick twitch enough for the next level.
  15. Sarratt ran a 4.72 at his pro day. 1st rounder Coop ran a 4.42. As a WR. Anyone have any actual evidence that Kaelon isn’t fast? Because I’m citing a timed 4.45 that says he is.
  16. Ways in which Kaelon Black is 100% elite? Strength, pass protection, short space burst, ball security (he literally has never fumbled). Ways in which he is well above average for an NFL back? Speed (4.45) shiftiness. Ways in which he is below average? Name recognition, age. The only ones I know of that projected him as a late rounder are the Mel Kipers of the world. Every NFL team was at his pro day and eyes were opened. Wide.
  17. Speed you say? Kaelon ran a 4.45 40 at his pro day. That’s better than average for a combine wr, nevermind a rb. The average 40-yard dash time for an NFL running back at the combine is generally between 4.49 and 4.59 seconds. Elite running backs often clock in under 4.4 seconds, while a time of 4.5–4.6 seconds is considered solid for the position. NFL.com +4
  18. Four Hoosiers in the first three rounds.
  19. THE THIRD RUNNING BACK IN THE DRAFT!! This is awesome. His pro day was so so good. Kaelon is going to be a star, and as soon as McCaffery gets injured (and he will) the whole nation will find out how exceptional he is.
  20. Like Peaches and Herb.. (Google it you youngsters)
  21. @LIHoosier clearly is not following instructions.
  22. Better and more important or less important than the "We made it past the round of 32" rings that Crean had made?
  23. Mod note: PLEASE.STAY.ON.TOPIC.AND.STOP.POSTING.DEPRESSING.PHOTOS.OF.JACKSONVILLE (Whichever dumbass is doing so)
