  1. Spending this kind of money is an extraordinarily risky play for universities because unlike IU/Cignetti, so many of them spend it on the wrong guy. For every '$13.2 million bargain' like Cig (which is undeniably true), there are countless big money investments put into programs and staffs that do not pay off with wins, donations, and university-wide presitge.
  2. Staes saw his playing time diminish as the season progressed. Methinks the staff doesn’t love the way he is, especially as a blocker.
  3. Wonder if the other is Wyatt or Brady. Guessing it’s Brady.
  4. The stats were compiled by a graduate of the Florida public school system.Or maybe the Department of Corrections.
  5. The state of Florida is dominant.
  6. No. Look up Stephen Daley on insta and you can see it. Can’t link it because I believe insta videos can’t be anonymized.
  7. Holy ****; I just watched the video. It’s from July 1st and he looks amazing already. Daley and Tobi? hehehehehehe
  8. The world’s first enigmatologist! That’s an outstanding wiki page read.
  9. A ruptured patella tendon is listed as a 6 to 12 month injury to return to sports, with 12 months the norm for recovered with near full explosiveness. Daley has been out for 8 1/2 months. That could easily mean full activity and regaining his burst.
  10. In other news, this guy will reportedly come back for a 5th year at Purdue:
  11. HE IS BAAAAACK!!!!
  12. Wha-huh?!!? That would be notable, to say the least. And Wyatt would likely be starting the season 100% healthy.
  13. Right there with Jared from Subway and Jim Jones? FWIW, I have Tijan Jobe ranked higher than many of the names I'm reading.
  14. I refuse to acknowledge the 'groupthink' that Sam Alexis is a key roster gap fill, and I'm rolling with Ben Winker.
  15. Here's an off-season IU topic if there ever were one: Name your all-time starting five of IU alums. Not neccesarily sports alums! I'll try: Mark Cuban Mark Spitz Hoagy Carmichael Sherman Minton (When there's a Supreme Court Justice as a choice? Gotta add him) Mike Pence
  16. The “This Could Be Texas” album by English Teacher is incredible. just incredible. For you old fuggers that are listening to the same stuff you did in high school? Feels like it was influenced by Poly-Styrene, Joy Division, The Beatles, and Liz Phair… all at once. Play this album; you’ll be glad you did:
  17. And Flavor Flav has one of the all-time distinctive super-cool voices in pop music. Chuck’s low disgust and Flav’s jarring attacks are freaking magic.
  18. If true, this makes Keyshawn Hall sad.
  19. Cue the “Painter always finds a way” chorus, but it appears that is so. He also has a 23 year old PF Euro trying to get eligible, but that Euro has never gotten minutes anywhere, albeit in high level leagues. After their Canadian trip, their starting lineup appears to be Jacobson, Pierce, Omer Mayer, Cox, and Antoine West.
  20. Mostly a receiver. If he returned he would be ahead of young but highly regarded tight ends only if Cig and Shanny did not regard them as highly as the rating services.
  21. Interesting—solid but didn’t stuff the stat sheet at Bethune.
  22. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/49ers-rookie-de-mikail-kamara-carted-off-practice-field-with-apparent-knee-injury
  23. TKR and Cluff were both pretty strong college players. They are replacing them with Jacobson and Pierce, an overachieving and undersized Ivy League player. That’s rough.
