  1. Meanwhile, apparently Mark Pope is Mark Pope-ing it up at UK:
  2. The 3 minute, 18 second mark of this video is everything you need to know:
  3. Indeed - this may affect Sherrill. But it's who we get, not who we don't get. And we are getting!
  4. I am very, VERY disappointed in Kirk, Cade McNamara, and every single Des Moines grandmamaw who ever claimed to be "Iowa nice." May they all rot in recruiting violation HELL!! (especially those grandmamaws)
  5. Welcome to posting, @Victor OlaMoye!
  6. No! - for some reason the site is converting 'colon, forward parentheses' to 'colon, backward bracket'. I think it's because @Hovadipo has an aversion to smiley faces, or to parentheseseseses. Either way, I edited and meant to say... "Based on stuff behind paywalls... smiley face!" :):):)
  7. Based on Sherrill stuff that is behind paywalls? :}
  8. Terrible shooting numbers from both three and from 2pt. If those don't improve dramatically he will drive fans nuts. Other stats check out as a success.
  9. Oh, I actually get to choose? Reibe.
  10. He might be too expensive at this point, but I would love to have Budd Clark. Seems like he's got a lot of Enright-chippy pest qualities to him, and Enright would be the perfect backup point on a contending team.
  11. Reibe. Besides, Bryson Tucker is committed to NBA draft stardom! But I might consider Bryson Tiller over Reibe lol. edit: Dammit! Usps beat me to the punchline by seconds.
  12. Rumor has it that he is a proud IU alum that was making north of $4 million a year recently.
  13. So that’s four starters: Z, Petrie, MM, Beau, and a freshman guard to be named as the point?
  14. But Connerway and Rice were almost 180° different resumes. Rice was a major conference freshman of the year, and Connerway was a small conference overachiever. The common thing they had was terrible staff evaluation.
  15. Dayummmmmm That would be four legit guys, all of whom, have at least two years of eligibility.
  16. It's a different approach than last year for sure. And it's a lesson in the truism that no two situations are alike. Football is a developmental sport with so many players on a roster and plenty of chances to miss on some players and still get plenty enough right to win. And the way to do that is to take excellent football production guys who mentally analyze info on the fly and then use their athleticism, and put 22 starters out there who work as a coordinated dance troupe. Basketball generally (though again, no two situations are the same) requires very talented, high-usage, ultra-confident players and a bunch of role players around them. Last year's basketball team was built on a ton of very experienced players that should have been role players but weren't, and only one guy (Wilkerson) that was built for a starring role. Those starring role guys are hard to find and even harder to get without an accomplished track record, so this year we are going after guys that are talented enough to potentially be lead guys, even if they haven't been yet.
  17. A Malik Reneau/Sam Alexis type that is 6'9" but very inside-focused on offense. Sherrill can guard the 5.
  18. Besides; he's not very good. Would be a good P5 backup at best. Good post defender but slow as shite and can't score inside or out. Think a slightly better Michael Durr.
  19. He would need an unlikely waiver; three full years + 16 games during their championship year, including pretty much the entire second half of the season.
