  1. Fru is a high major player with a 76.5 efg %. He is also 6’11”, 240, bouncy, runs the floor really well, and started for a top 25-ish team. Looks like he doesn’t play with his back to the basket—lob dunks, transition run outs, and basket cuts when he scores. Holy hell; if that doesn’t fit the high major big description I’m not sure what does.
  2. Former Purdude Jaden Ivey is in the news with some notable public comments; likely mental health issues. Just got cut from the Bulls; likely because of them. I’d like to think that I can mock Purdue with the best of em, but this isn’t a laughing matter. Hope he gets help and gets right.
  3. You mean, have we ever had a pro day? lol Answer; primarily for CFL and arena football scouts.
  4. Awesome bit of info! If Carr's son transfers to IU and we get a true top tier catch and shoot guy for two years? That would be so so good.
  5. Get filmed? Get feathered? Get fluoridated? Get flanged? I need more - not sure what he message is. But in the meantime ... go Michigan and illannoy!!
  6. He's from Louisville and commits to Louisville? I get it - some young people are not especially prepared to be a few hours away from home, or grew up rooting hard for the home town team. Good for him; if he was wavering he should be staying in his home town and we should be glad he re-considered early in the process.
  7. Because Jamie Kaiser is the WRONG answer (I hope).
  8. A few notable stats: Very few fouls per 40 min. An okay but not great outside shooter. Here's the truly standout stat: Last year got to the line an average of 5.2 times per game, and hit 85% from the line. I haven't seen him much, but to me that says he can be a bully with the ball. He's apparently a dive on the floor, fire up the crowd player. Maybe like Enright but with some offensive skill? Certainly someone that would be projected as a starter. ps: forget the video title; he is not the best guard in the Big East.
  9. He started 56 of 57 Juco games over two Juco seasons. Rosters are far from set, but without Cluff they would currently be completely devoid of any inside scoring ability.
  10. I'm an unimaginable heathen/masochist? Cool!
  11. NC State hiring 'not-Shertz': https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/48347021/sources-nc-state-expected-hire-justin-gainey-coach
  12. Let's have an all B1G title game baybeeeeeeeeeeee!! With Purdump out I'm done rooting against in-conference teams (apologies, Hova)- I'm good with it.
  13. MULLINS!!!! wow that was awesome
  14. There are worse ideas, depending on where his head is at.
  15. Hurley is too damn good to be punked. UConn back in it.
  16. Against a Tennessee team that isn’t a high level offense, this game is pretty much done at halftime.
  17. Not sure I agree. A hyper-talented, super high-motor a$$h*le is actually a very good thing to be, as long as he’s also a good teammate.
  18. I’m very confident that Evans would be a $2.5m+ acquisition.
  19. I am. But okay—the ceiling is so high; wishing that Altman and staff was preventing him from optimizing his performance.
  20. Then you’d be surprised. For instance, I text with a group of IU alum college buddies; they are as IU as it gets. And during any basketball loss you’d think things were so irrevocably awful that they should close the program completely.
  21. 1. Agree— you can absolutely be critical, especially in a thread designed for criticism, and be one-million percent dedicated to the glory of old IU. 2. Disagree— Everyone? this board has a truckload of posters calling out the administration’s handling of the bball program.
