  3. Just a guess; you're kidding about the "Miracles From Heaven " part ... only.
  4. Garland and Romeo in '18. Big time.
  5. It's early, but if we keep winning I like our chances. He seems to have a Duke or IU personality, and with a squared away family our geographic proximity will be a big advantage.
  6. Moot point. No player (unless they are the coach's kid or independently wealthy) would accede to that option.
  7. Seems about right. I still think he's a goner.
  8. Harrison Niego will be a tremendous success, both on and off the basketball court.
  9. Did that do it?
  10. "Really, really good basketball players who stay in college at an excellent university long enough to get a degree, and to develop the maturity to handle life on their own in the NBA." How'd I do?
  11. I put $100 on Rutgers to win it all. Got good odds though! ;)
  12. Ummm, just sayin' ... If my recent memory serves me, there was a team that pretty recently won the B1G title outright by two full games.
  13. Cody, Wat, Vic, Will, Elston, Pritch. This group should be better, though. Especially in regard to quality depth and defensive rim protection. G-d bless it we are gonna have three or four outstanding defensive rim protectors!!! Heaven.
  14. A lineup of Rojo, JBj, TB, OG, and Colinn is without any doubt better than UK's five star freshmen temporary mercenaries. Period.
  15. Not quite: Troy has his degree. He will go pro. No inside info here, but I betcha I'm right. Put Collin back in the starting lineup; he provides good post passing, court sense, leadership, and outside shooting.
  16. Our frontcourt next year: TB, DeRon, Juwan, OG, Collin. STACKED.
  17. CTC showed tremendous progress in that area last season, even with all of those shooters on the court. Our offense has been consistently excellent for the past two years. The difference last year? TB and Max in the post instead of Hanner and Collinn. Additionally, Davis will not be anywhere near the low post scorer that TB is, though I assume that going against TB in practice will gear him toward that skill. Also, we will still have more than a few very, very good outside shooters: RoJo, Hartman, OG, Juwan, Josh N., Cujo, Devonte, and...JBj will be firing away again!
  18. I wouldn't read too much into the "no recent offers for a big" dynamic. We have DeRon Davis, our young talented big, already signed and on the way. If we lose TB, it would be far more likely we'd be looking for a Max Bielfeldt type to fill the gap.

  20. Mostly true. If a player is top 15, there's lots of guaranteed money, and a future knee injury can't change that. If a player isn't top 15, a knee injury after getting that agent can lead an immature 19 year old down a very, very rocky road. IMO, players develop better in the pros than in college. Add that to the fact that Troy has his degree; and I think he oughta go. TB is not likely top 15; I think he oughta stay. PS: The rules that the 'adults' made...suck.
  21. It would also be nice if our student athletes consider the value of staying long enough to obtain, or be within close reach of obtaining, a college degree.
  22. Oh good lord. Everything is looking great EXCEPT for with the most important position on the field? Good grief
  23. How crazy do we have to go if we want Spike Albrecht? ;)
