  1. If I’m Race Thompson, I would consider transferring. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  2. I thought Smith ran into him, but I looked down right before and didn’t see the whole play. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. For some reason Archie hardly goes to him in the 2nd half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. And 1 for Hunter with the no call. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  5. Regardless of a win I’m losing faith by the second in Archie, and I’ve been a big supporter of his. There’s no excuse for this, none at all. IU is a better team than UConn, and we are running a same offense that has given us 4 freaking points this half. Trace is playing at the top of the freaking key and getting no post touches. This team and staff make this game way too hard on themselves. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  6. Also, why the heck are we not going to Trace on the block. I hope we win but Miller is coaching terrible this second half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  7. This is embarrassing. Get Davis the heck out of there!!! Play freaking small ball Archie. It worked in the 1st and it’s been abandoned all half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  8. Thankfully UConn is playing just as bad. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. I don’t get our offense right now. We are getting lucky the refs are calling touch fouls on UConn, but offense seems very slow. I know UConn has a good defense, but we are lacking movement. Need to do better against their double team. Spread the floor and cut. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  10. And Archie starts Brunk and Al. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  11. Wow what a half, both great and horrible. I really hope Archie goes with Trace and Justin, and tell Justin to take Akok off the dribble and attack him like crazy. Get him out and I love our chances even better. While not on the stat sheet, and outside of one defense inbound play, I thought Armaan played very well. Cut down the crazy turnovers and I feel IU should win this game by 10+. Have to keep punching away, I think our physical play really got to them Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  12. Lol, this game is so nuts. A couple passes that were some of the worst I’ve ever seen, and IU has taken the lead. Just...... wow lol. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  13. And we turn it over on a 4 on 2 break...... IU is working it’s way back, but these turnovers are so bad. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. Terrible, terrible start. Al and Brunk need to be on the bench and not start. When we played good defense UConn couldn’t score, then we got sloppy on both ends. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  15. Maybe pull him away from the basket or let Trace get him in foul trouble. Might be a good idea?! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  16. Brunk and Durham are really doing great right now, let’s keep them in..... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  19. Should be able to catch this game from the start. I think all of us will be very curious how our Hoosiers start the first couple of minutes. Will the team fold and be uninspired, or will the IU team that played FSU show up? Next 4 games are critical IMO following this Wisconsin game. 2 home and 2 neutral. Need to finish 3-1 to feel better about our tournament hopes. Either way, just compete and get back to what us worked well so far this season! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  20. Hope this isn’t wishful thinking 75 - 70 IU +5 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  21. I think a lot of frustration with the Wisconsin game is from what happened last year. Too many times this team would fail to show up and get run out of the gym. I get it can happen one or two times a year, but fear is settling in that an Archie Miller team may be prone to these sort of outings more than just a couple. To me, one is unacceptable because a team should never fail to show up with lack of effort and trying, but last years team is still very fresh in a lot of people’s minds. I am not rushing to judgement yet, but it is a little worrisome that this performance is showing up again. I will definitely wait to see the next handful of games away from Assembly Hall to see how things go, but this can’t happen more than twice in a season. I am still confident in Archie, but want to see this team’s mindset the rest of the season. There’s no way we can ever play that way in the Big10, especially on the road and expect to compete. I still really like this team, and we’ve done well this season without a top Big10 point guard and lack of production recently from our two big men (Brunk and Davis). I encourage everyone to keep hope, I am and I still have some skepticism in me, but this team has shown what it’s capable of, and I believe that will be a consistent norm this season. Last year we had some great performance that pumped us up, but I was always worried because we had 3 or 4 non-conference games where we greatly struggled. That hasn’t really been the case this year. I’ve said since last season this would be a team that barely makes it into the NCAA Tournament, and I believe that is still the case. If IU finishes 3-1 the next 4, that puts IU’s record at 11-2. IU will need to get 9 more wins to get in IMO. We have 9 games at home that are very winnable outside of OSU and Maryland (MSU could sneak into that). We also have road games that we can win in Rutgers, Nebraska, Illinois, PSU, and Minnesota. If we come out with another performance like Wisconsin I will be a lot more worried and frustrated, but I will wait until that happens again. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  23. Except insert Crean’s zone offense then all of the sudden their zone looks amazing! :) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. Can’t watch the game due to a work event with the city, but I will be very curious to see the amount of charges are called?! Wisconsin are the king of flopping, and the refs always buy into it regardless of how terrible it is. I have faith in this team, but also know that this is the first game away from Assembly Hall so anything can happen. Expecting a win, but won’t be surprised by a close loss. Fingers crossed they don’t go crazy from 3 since they’ve been struggling there this year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  25. Had to watch the game on DVR because of a work holiday party, but thrilled how this team played overall. We had a nice three-headed monster in Devonte, Trace, and Justin. I was also very pleased with how Franklin and Anderson played overall as well. Wish we could have gotten a little more out of our bigs outside of Trace, but there will be games like that. Is anyone hesitant to be fully happy because of last year with the Marquette and Louisville games then tanking? Really hope this team has turned the corner, and it seems like it has because this team looks completely bought in and bonding as a team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
