Like the look. Lots of coll additions.... The Game Countdown timer doesn't appear to be working (if I refresh the page the timer is correct, but it is not counting down... if it is supposed to be). Not having any of the other issues that others have mentioned so far. I did prefer the cosmetics of the old version but all the functions & features appear to be working perfectly for me.

Yea that is what I am thinking... 1st game tip is 7:30 so 10 makes perfect sense.... Just didn't know where TV & Radio where getting the 10:40 tip time... Thanks.

I have heard through others that on the local news and then today on the radio that the IU / UNC Tip time has been pushed to 10:40.... ESPN still has it listed at 9:57. I am sure it will get pushed a little bit as the 2nd game always does in this situation but has anybody else heard anything like this?

I am excited for him, and i do think he is a scorer.... Just think he scores in other ways vs being a lights out shooter. I did however forget about Durham coming in the next yr (2017) and I think he may be the additional shooter.   All in all I doubt we even give Hughes a look, just thought it was interesting that a kid with some pretty decent offers, signed letter of intent, and now back on the market...

Gotcha, I thought he was more of a driver but you could very well be correct that he is a shooter and if so that lowers any thoughts of looking for another shooter.     I believe JBJ will be at IU 1 more year, & Rojo graduates in 2... Hughes could be fully developed and ready to step up by that time.... Same could be said for our current incoming class as well obviosuly.... Just saying you can never have too many shooters!!! Especially in our system.

This is what I keep hearing from UofL fans.... they are so excited we beat UK because #1 UK is out of the tourney and they hate them as much as we do.... & #2 Crean will get an extension and IU will stay mediocre... or at the very least inconsistent.

Losing 2 (Yogi & Nick), Gaining 4 (Cujo, Grant, Green, Newkirk)   In my opinion losing our best 2 shooters, and only gaining 1 shooter (GG), correct? Newkirk is supposed to be a true PG, Green & Cujo are more wing/slashers.   A 3-star shooter that could develop over 4 years would be a nice commodity.... Of course if we risk that we basically lose any room for potential 5 stars (Rawle & Thon)...   *** Maybe more importantly I can see this kid going on to Wisconsin and then in a couple years killing us... and I would hate that LOL

2016 UofL Signee Frankie Hughes (6'3" Shooting gaurd) has been released from his Letter of Intent.   3-Star out of Ohio Had previous offers from VCU, Wisconsin, & St Joe's..... Would this fill a need at IU?     **** Also not sure how all this works but if you have already signed and you decide to transfer I am guessing you don't have to sit since you never actually joined the team? I always here the sigh of relief when a player signs officially but this seems to be a case that even that doesn't mean much until they are actually on campus and with the team.

I don't really remember being nervous before 2002 game, but maybe the nerves have just faded away... Or maybe I just want this game SO BAD after everything we have gone through since then... All I hope is I get a moment that vividly sticks in my mind in this victory the way the AJ Moye block is so prominent every time I think about the 2002 game.

How do you know this?    I would argue that they did not... That they put much more stock in the Gard games vs the Ryan games from earlier in the season...   They lost to Western Illinois (240), Georgetown (68), Oklahoma (9), Milwaukee (117), Marquette (103) under Ryan They beat Notre Dame (42), VCU (41), & Syracuse (33) under Ryan   Bad Losses under Gard = @ Northwestern (72) & Nebraska (94) while beating MSU, IU, Maryland, Iowa, & Michigan

I agree with bolded statement...   I just see the coaches punishment as the loss of income and being suspended for the 9 games... at that point his punishment is up. Nothing further.   The Team's resume is/was evaluated based on many factors, 1 of which discounted the games they were not at full strength because of the coach missing...I know the committee says they value the whole body of work the same, but we all are aware that isn't the case, it is 10 individuals educated opinion and those opinions are steered by statistics and facts. Eye Test, how a team finishes the season, effects of missing players/coaches... it all factors in even if the committee denies it....     They also deny they purposely set up IU/UK  :rtfm:

I understand this sentiment and I know this has been discussed a lot before...   My question is who is the NCAA trying to punish? School? - Fines punish the school, Post Season Ban = loss of income Coach? - Suspension and/or fines is punishment... possiblity of Show Clauses etc for Future.... Vacate Wins from Coaching Record. Current Players? - Why punish the current players at all if it happened prior to them arriving. (I think this is the good part of those 9 games being discounted by the committee.) Prior Players? - Not much you can do but strip their names from the record books, vacate wins, etc.

This is my biggest fear for Saturday......
