After seeing the top rated posts in the portal, we are moving forward on arguably the most game-ready choice. And we are moving forward on the player that understands and has connections to the university.
Absent something to the contrary, we are on our way to getting an outstanding piece to the on-court puzzle, who also is an outstanding student and a native Hoosier.

Really good people can have bad moments. There was never forgiveness needed for me; Mike Woodson is a really good person and a fellow IU alum.
Better roster construction? YES! More wins? YES! Fewer terrible losses? YES! B1G regular season, B1G tourney, and NCAA achievements?? YESSSSSS!!!!! Seems like me and Mike Woodson have the same goals.

In other music news, The Bevis Frond has a new one out. One of the truly iconic guitarists ever is still bashing away at age 71. Prolific (easily over 30 full length LPs), tuneful, and still shredding a guitar at age 71. Nick Saloman is a piece of work.

It’s a legit question. I truly believe that if the coming season doesn’t go well (along the lines of the season we just had) Woodson will be done.
But if the season goes very well, does that mean that that Woody all of the sudden learned to coach, or that we constructed a roster built to win?

My family is going to be super confused when I play The Sweater Song and Hash Pipe right before I croak. 

I imagine I’ll be depressed enough.

If you can narrow it to 10 that would be a neat trick. I decided a long time that when my time comes the last song I hear ain’t gonna be some Muzak version of Tie a Yellow Ribbon ‘Round the Old Oak Tree in some hospital. So I’ve been compiling a list of songs I flat love that the family snarkily refers to as Dad’s Deathbed Playlist. I’m super rigorous on what’s on there and it’s at 80 songs just now. If I had to cut it to 10 I’d absolutely blow a gasket. 

I obviously am in the minority here….but I can’t stand Boston.  Think they are really vanilla.  I was in college when Third Stage was released and still can hear songs like ****in’ Amanda getting played from dorm rooms while I walk down the hall.
Stones, Beatles, Rush, The Who….i’m there with you.  But Boston?  Ugh.

We got great news  on Friday! Results from the PET scan came back and the cancer hasn't spread to my lymph nodes! So now we get to move on to the easier treatment and kick it to the curb quickly! Thank you everyone for the prayers! GOD IS GREAT!

About five or ten posters on this board have been repeatedly clear that they strongly agree with each other. Most posters on this message board, a place for airing of grievances, disagree with what you stated as something we “all” agree with.
