Play Victor or not?

Recommended Posts

Let's say that hypothetically Oladipo is a game-time decision for the MSU game Tuesday. Do you play him and give yourself the best shot to win and put yourself in a good spot to win the Big Ten Regular Season Championship? Or, do you sit and rest him to minimize risk of him injuring his ankle even worse? Personally, if there's any doubt, I sit him. Rather have him healthy for March/April. No right or wrong answers. Just wanna know what everyone else thinks.

I say play him, but limit his minutes by a few. Victor is the toughest player in the league so I don't think a sprained ankle is going to keep him away from anything. He's got this! We need to beat that cocky ass Nix.

If it is a sprained ankle, anybody that has played basketball for years has been there and dealt with this injury. If he is effective and can play, he should play. If he can't help the team by being on the floor, he shouldn't play. Any competitor is going to want to be on the floor for this big of a game. Coach Crean knows whether he is ready to go. If he practiced the last 2 days without discomfort, he will definitely be on the floor and the injury won't be an issue.
