ARTICLE:Isaiah Whitehead Highlights

Recommended Posts

2014 Isaiah Whitehead came out of the blue to many Hoosier fans last week as Tom Crean made a quick offer. Take a look at Whitehead's game and how it could mesh in Bloomington. Here is a quick highlight film from the recent NBPA Top 100 camp this past July. Here you can see Whitehead has an tremendous driving ability and shows a decent jump shot. It will be interesting following this recruitment as Indiana just jumped onto his radar and he will already take an official visit in September.

Look for this recruitment to be very quick and a decision to come before Hoosier Hysteria.

Friend of mine, big Cuse fan who has kept up with Whitehead for awhile, told me that Whitehead is a "game closer" and "has ice in his veins." I really hope Whitehead comes to Indiana.

It seems like it will come down between IU and Syracuse. Whitehead was considered a strong Cuse lean until Indiana offered. His main goal is the NBA and Indiana seems to have an advantage there because of Crean's ability to develop players the last few years. Most recruiting experts agree that his best option is Indiana for his goals. Also, remember that Crean has had good success getting in late on guys. Look at Troy Williams for example. Whitehead's recruitment will get very interesting.
