We don’t know who would come to IU, what they are like, what they were working with at their current jobs, and how they would translate to IU. DDV could be better or worse than Otz, Ben, Beard, whoever. I’ve got to hope Scott’s judgment is good. I’m optimistic and looking forward to the portal.

I know this statement about resources gets old, but we've got like 2-3x more for player payroll than Iowa. Would be wild if we wanted Ben and he turned down the chance to spend that much money on the roster because he just loves Iowa. We'll see, but Ben is Cig-like and could still be Scott's pick. I get what you're saying. One thing to note is UK hired a guy with zero tourney wins. I kinda doubt it's Devries, I think his agent is using the IU job to get more from WVU. If it's him, that's fine, we'll see how he does!
