And there is is… The long history of IU football being sad sacks. We’re not good enough to keep Cig, because that’s our narrative throughout. So tired (and positive Cig is too) of the “woe is me” mentality. Whitten and Dolsen have made it crystal clear that Cig is their guy, and they are going to do whatever it takes to keep him in Bloomington. Time for the fanbase to take on Cig’s personality and show a little confidence/cockiness. We’re not the laughing stock anymore.

Maybe Cig feels so confident in his defense that he doesn’t feel that he wants to take the risk. Iowa was a good example. Our defense controlled them. Didn’t need to risk creating a short field for them unnecessarily.

I noticed that as well

I was at Camp Randall in the early 90’s when Wisconsin beat Michigan and the students stormed the field. The absolute most harrowing experience I have witnessed. 70 people were injured, 10 were unconscious. Fortunately no one died. After that game they decided to ring the field with chain link fence to prevent that from happening again

It wouldn’t surprise me that Finebaum is on the IU bandwagon because he believes that it will help lure Cig to the SEC.

He’d be a great replacement for Corso

Just from personal experience. Adding Texas Tech to the list is curious. Lubbock is to the Big 12 as W. Lafayette is to the B1G

Well. Saturday night is my 50th high school reunion. Recording game to watch later. Really sucks, but I wasn’t on the reunion planning committee.

Last season we lost Rourke for a game but other than that were pretty much injury free. Hoping the law of averages doesn’t catch up with us this year.
