    I'd add 5) A defensive stopper. Enright hustled, but we didn't have anyone that you could call a defensive stopper. This would involve upgrading our athleticism.

    Be careful! When losing teams use load management it's called tanking. You might get fined for that. :)

    I agree with you, but Dolson and those in charge don't like to see an empty Assembly Hall on television. That's just a reminder of how mismanaged our basketball program has been.

    I want Miami (Ohio) in. My fear is since the NCAA President wants to expand the Tournament, they leave Miami out and claim they would have made it if the Tournament was expanded.

    I'm hoping Sisley develops and can play solid minutes and that all the recruits are good enough to crack the rotation and contribute off the bench next year. We need to build a solid young nucleus.

    The second half collapses will not be missed. I hope those weren't because DeVries couldn't adjust after other teams made their adjustments.

    Any chance Mullins is homesick? I know he's projected in the NBA draft, but maybe he'd prefer another year of development in college closer to home.

    Goode was a guy that would get on players last year about poor/stupid play. Dorn provided none of that leadership which no one on our roster provided this year.

    I agree there are players out there. Our big sell is that IU can offer playing time at every position. Unfortunately, we no longer have tradition to sell or the certainty of playing in the NCAA Tournament. I believe the key is to overpay a Big Fish early that other players will want to play with.

    Watching the conference tournaments and NCAA Tournament are always fun as a basketball fan. They're less fun when IU stinks, but there are still compelling games to watch. I find myself rooting for Cinderellas and against Duke, Carolina, and all Big Ten teams. I may make an exception this year and root for Dusty (Michigan) and Nebraska.

    I agree that we'll have 2-3 players exit. I think you can easily "Crean" players you want to leave by just lowering their NIL and spending the savings on players to play in front of them. Guys will get the hint and move on.

    In hindsight, this team would have benefitted from Luke Goode getting another year of eligibility. He would have started in front of Dorn and Goode would have provided some much-needed leadership to this roster. This team had no one to take charge when needed. Goode would have also given us a reliable third scorer.

    Northwestern is going to keep coming at us and I don't think we are mentally strong enough and focused to play that way for 40 minutes.
