    It is funny over on rivals they are arguing if it is illegal for someone to rent a private plane for Boogie to come to Bloomington. I would think that would be impermissible benefits since it wouldn't be an official visit.

    That lies the problem with IU football. You need to win to get fans to come into the stadium. It is about impossible to recruit well with a half empty stadium so what comes first

    I am 53 and been an IU fan my whole life and for most part the program and fan base has been bad.

    I wouldn't say the fan base for football is great and it shows with us not even able to sell out a 50,000 seat stadium

    I am sure it was a easier to find money for the basketball program than it will for the football program. Also have to ask the question will you lose more money by keeping him over than firing him this year.

    The thing is you don't have to give him all 20 mil at once. It would be paid out until end of his contract contract which I think is 2027

    I am sorry but the talent level disparity on the field and sidelines shouldn't be this much different between conference teams. There has to be a change at the top of the football program and bring in a young offensive minded coach.
