To me Bates not developing here is the difference in this year's team. We need better shooting and scoring from the guards and if Bates had developed here this team ceiling would be higher

I turned on the Oregon and Georgia game and I couldn't tell you who the starting five were on either team. 30 years ago I could tell you most of the lineups of the power conference teams.

All I said luckily the defense stepped up yesterday because the offense was a no show in the second half. If the defense had played like they did the last 3 weeks we would have lost. I am very happy with a win and an ugly win is better than a pretty loss.

Defense stepped up today and made some big plays. I know UW offense is not very good but we did what was needed today win

I just don't stress out about things that I have no control over. We will get players through the portal and probably get some soring signees

So how many programs even get 1 5 star let alone 2 or more. Take away Duke or UK most other programs would be thrilled with getting 1 five star a year. Even KU don't usually get multiple 5 stars in every class

I just can't believe how some of our fans can talk themselves into things when there has not been any news at all. Social media can be good in some cases but when it comes to recruiting it causes people to to overreact to every little thing.

If he was worried about the recruiting class he would have waited to commit to see who we got in this class. People starting freaking out about things that are made up in a posters mind and has no merit to it.

Where do you see that we are losing out on Queen. All of these guys kept saying that Fland was going to IU until a day before he committed

I was born in September of 1970 so RMK was the only coach at IU I knew. I don't think some of the younger fans realize what IU basketball was like in the 70's and 80's. I am not saying this as a bad thing but IU basketball was like a cult for the fans. Most people I knew scheduled their day around IU basketball on game day. We as a family would sit together and watch every game. It was a different time where there were less things to occupy your time. We only had 1 TV in the house early on so it was a family thing to do. There were no cable or streaming outlets so you only had 4 channels to choose from. I also watched every pre game show to watch coach RMK break down the game plan. Every Sunday morning I would watch the Bob Knight show on channel 4

My senior year in highschool (89) my best friend recruited me to play for the AG basketball team. I have no clue about AG but I had to take a class in order to play on the team. Our teacher and Coach was a PU alumni and wrote for the student paper. Some how he had interviewed coach Knight when he was in school. Fast forward to my senior year and at a awards banquet our teacher brought me and my best friend up to the podium. He knew how much we loved IU and Coach Knight. He had contacted the IU athletic department and got us two autograph pictures of coach Knight. Both pictures were signed by coach himself and not just a stamp.

RIP to the best coach of all time. He was IU's coach for the first 30 years of my life and ue was my hero

That is if Allan finds another job right away

Do people actually think we will fire Allan after this season. I hope they do but I just don't think enough donors will care enough to give 20 mil for the buyout
