That is funny because it hasn't evolved and not how basketball was meant to be played. It is about player movement and ball movement and not seeing one guy dribble the air out of the ball. Also with analytics it is taking half Court out of the game.
Also back then the college game was far better than it is today. To me it is easier for mid major to do well in the tournament today than it was back then. Dusty would be the top of my list when we have an opening but he is no guarantee either
If you take DD out of the equation you still had 5 coaches in 22 years. That is an average of a little more than 4 years in their time at IU. I would assume that is pretty much on average throughout the country So no I don't think we keep coaches longer than other teams do.
I didn't say they shouldn't have been fired but it is not like we are keeping guys a lot longer than they should have. They probably should have fired Davis a year earlier.
Well we finished second last year in the conference and don't care if we were closer to 12th. This year so far we are leading the conference
You have to win in the conference before worrying about making huge tournament runs.
He did and it takes time to get to that level. It took coach K over 4 years to just become a tournament team and took him 9 years to win his first championship
