Because your rotation should be like 8 players and no more so that is 4 or 5 guys that are unhappy and will probably transfer anyways

I never understood why our fans care so much about filling all 13 scholarships. Last year the reason we struggled was not having a 13th scholarship but it was roster construction. Most teams don't have all 13 scholarships covered and one is the team who has won back to back championships.

I am sorry but looking at that list shows a lack big time talent in the league

I would assume that player wouldn't play the rest of the season but you would have him for the next season

If you fill that spot with this guy what happens if f at the semester break a really good player hits the portal. If you have the spit open then you can get the transfer

The thing is if or when a change is made it will just start all over again with fans. Unless you can get Stevens then any coach you bring in won't be a sure thing. If all of these hires the last few years shows us you will not be bringing in an elite level coach who is a sure thing.

To me the difference between tanking for a draft pick and wanting a coach to be fired is that there is no guarantee the coach will be fired. It is obvious now that Woodson's job was never in jeopardy. No matter what some rumors were I don't think it would have mattered what his record was last year he wasn't going to be fired. For me I couldn't care less what the coaches personality is as long as he wins and doesn't embarrass the program off the court. I don't buy anyone saying they want Woodson fired because they don't like him as a person. If they were 25-6 last year and made the elite 8 nobody would care what his personality was. I wanted him fired for the results on the court and not how he acted. I never went into any game last year hoping we would lose and was happy with a loss. If I wanted us to lose then I wouldn't have been so upset after losses.

That is not a fan, I would never want IU to lose a game. He probably thought IU going to the championship game in 2002 was a bad thing because it kept Davis longer.

I just see Duke and Syracuse having HIF coaches who were there over 49 years so I doubt the administration today had anything to do with those hires. I just don't see what makes those administration better than IU's. You probably can put Villanova in the same category.

None of those hires are considered home run hires. 3 of them had no HC experience at any level and if IU made those hires you would been upset. If those administrations are so good why did they settle for these guys. U get it you despise Woodson and will find any little things bing to hash him. I understand questioning his coaching but making it personal is what I don't understand. Besides the comment at Senior day I haven't seen anything off the court to be upset with. None of us no hom personally so none of us I ow what kind of person he is.

I think his out of bounds plays and our if time out plays are pretty good

I am watching it now and what I have taken from that is that they started taking things to seriously. They want to get back to just having fun and stop taking every outcome so hard. They say it is just basketball and we as fans should realize that.

I wanted a new coach as much as anyone but I got over it and moved on. I also look at the college coaching landscape and don't see other power teams getting big time coaches. How would you have felt if we had hired Mark Pope as our next coach. Those are the type of coaches we will get not guys like Hurley or Stevens What I chastised fans about was if you want a change so something about it instead of just bitching on a message board. It is obvious neither one worked.

I just think it is time to back the program and stop with this non sense. All of this talk doesn't help one bit and only hurt the program. He wasn't fired and will be the coach so why not be positive for once. Do I think he is a great coach no, but he has isn't inept or as bad as you guys make him out to be
