Harrelson to IU

Well this looks like this recruitment is ending in another disappointment. I am ready for the season to start because I am tired of hearing about recruiting and the Portal/NIL. If he does choose UCONN it is obvious it is because they are the top program right now. Also he can actually see what his re can be in their offense compared to us saying we are changing our offense. The only other thing is that about two weeks before Harrelson's commitment everyone thought he was going to IU and didn't select us. I also still think you need to build most of your roster with high school recruiting and supplement that with the portal. I am to the point where I have a lot of concern with Woodson and his recruiting if the high school players. We got in early with both Harrelson and Mullins and still couldn't get them

What are they attacking each other over

My brothers ex son son in law who said that UCONN was offering $750,000 also said before his UCONN visit that he was definitely going to IU. That visit changed some things and is making him think a little longer about UCONN.

I agree and every year of this keeps chipping away my enjoyment of college sports

I know Mullins is a very good player but is he worth all of this bidding if true. I know his dad is a police so are we offering him to be head of security or something like that

Take it for what it is worth. Talking to my brother and he was talking with his former son and law about Mullins. His son of law is friends with Mullins dad and said UCONN offered $750,000. So if we doubled their offer that would mean 1.5 mil. I have a hard time believing we would offer that much.

Mullins really need to look at all the players UCONN will have next year at the 1-3 position.

If you would just go off of his interview with Peegs I would have them in the same order. I know that doesn't mean everything but what he said about each team made me feel like it was UCONN UNC IU With the Harrelson recruitment that until a week or so before his announcement it seemed like it was IU. The last week it seemed to change to ND. Maybe this talk about Mullins and UCONN is just that and at the end it will be IU

I am at the point where I hope we get the recruits but if we don't I won't get upset about it. I am getting to old to worry about where a 17 year old kid wants to go to college.

How old are his brothers. I saw a kid yesterday at the McDonald's in Mt Comfort that looked like Braylon but a few years younger. He was with an older gentleman who probably was his grandpa

Funny the other day he talked about how he at least won something while as a player but all Woodson did was pad his stats. I emailed the show that he was incorrect since the 1980 team won the Big Ten and Woodson was the big ten MVP. He did all of that after missing 8 weeks due to back surgery .To my surprise I never heard back from him

I think if we can get Lewis to commit then I think that would lead to more top recruits to come to IU. I could see top OL and WR want to come play with Lewis

Like I said earlier if all you went by is this interview then that is how I see the order of the schools. Obviously there is way more into a recruitment than 1 interview and I never said that is how I see this recruitment ending

No, just my reaction to what he said about each program. Rabjohns asked him why each team made his final 3 and the only real advantage IU has is proximity to his home. He said he has a good relationship with each coaching staff. When it came to the offenses he said IU is changing how they run the offense. The other two can actually show him how he fits into their system that they have ran for years.

If you just go by the interview with Peegs yesterday this is how I would rank them UCONN UNC IU

Watch this might change your mind a little. They went over UCONN's roster at spots 1-3 next year and they might have 7 or 8 players at those positions next year. The report is that Braylon is looking at their roster very thoroughly. Who know who f these guys know anything. Also there is a new guy on their and say he is an Indiana guy

They use to do that in the NBA and the first time the Pacers ever made the playoffs they lost 2-0 at Philadelphia
