To me it appears the Player experience tournament will put an end to the Maui classic and the Battle for Atlantis. Just looking at the fields for both of those tournaments makes it look like top teams are choosing not to play in these tournaments. That happened to the Great Alaska shootout.whoch was a huge tournament in the day.

What I am saying take the open shot no matter where you are on the court. Just catch it and shoot and not worry where you are on the court because you shoot better when you are not thinking about it.

I used to be just like that because I only watched college basketball from Nov-April and nothing else. I use to buy 3 or more pre season magazines and read them cover to cover but not today. I just think all the player movement has made the sport less interesting and it is hard to get to know teams rosters. I use to know all the teams rosters going into the season but today I don't even know the big ten teams rosters.

I guess I am to old school because I see no problem seeing players shoot open 15 foot shots. We have the all time leading scorer in big ten history who made a living on those shots. To me if you use the whole court it makes you harder to defend. I saw many IU teams score over 80 a game without shooting 35 3's. To me it isn't about where you shoot the ball but the quality of the shot and how you get those shots. Guys like Devries and Wilkerson should hit 58+% from an open 15 footer.

It depends who is playing For me there are to many of these small tournaments where the matchups are teams that I have little interest in. For me the thrill of championship week was seeing these teams for the first time and then watching them in the tournament. Now these guys are on and it makes it less special for me. For the most part it is not knowing most if these rosters and hopefully once conference games start I will be more into it.. Also to me the college game is trying to be more like the NBA and to me that is a negative. I have a hard time enjoying some of the offenses I see because it is to much ball screens and guys just standing in the corners. What I loved about our team early was they actually were screening off the ball and had player movement which is the style I love.

The last few days I have really tried to watch a lot of these games but I am having trouble getting into a lot of these games. I just think the portal and the NIL stuff has started to dwindle my interest in the games. Even watching the power conference teams I don't know most of the roster. Also the quality of the play in a lot of the games are not up to par. Yes the games have been close but it doesn't mean the quality of play in the court is great. I know I am in the minority but another problem I have is that they have totally oversaturated the product and there are way to many games on at the same time. What use to make me excited about the games were that they use to seem to be an event but now there is a game at anytime so it makes it less special.

Harris, Ristic and Drake are all out with injuries and I don't think there is much of an up date when they will be back.

I hate on 3rd and 1 you run out of the shotgun. I see this all the time it never have made sense to me. To me if you are under center they have to be prepared for a QB sneak and you also have your RB already going towards the line before he receives the ball. Also why did the run outside on the 3rd and 1 in OT

It snowed last year when we played Purdue and it didn't effect us

UM basketball didn't let Bill Frieder coach them in the 89 tournament when they found out he was taking the ASU job. It ended up well for UM by winning the championship

I disagree because his skill set doesn't fit with this offense. He wants to back his defender down with the dribble which slows the offense down. He isn't a great passer which is needed from the bigs in this offense

I don't see Reneau fitting I to this offense at all. The ball always stopped when he received the ball and I don't see that fitting into this offense
