Agree on the second chance, but if this JR tweet from a year and a half ago, still holds a drop of water, then hard pass. If you feel that kind of pressure to win in football country, to the point of drinking, imagine the pressure he will feel in Bloomington. And we complain about Woody having a cigar after a loss.

Shouldn't the coach be viewed as high character also. Beard is viewed as having questionable character by many fans(not just our fans). Coaches,in a lot of cases, have to gain the trust of mothers and grandmothers. Not sure an alleged domestic charge will sit well with quite a few of them. Not that I am for or against, but after getting feedback from the women in my life, probably not a great hire. Perception is important.

Right there with you. Empty nesters, enjoying life. If IU is winning, it's a cherry on top. If they're losing, I revert back to my second sentence.

The fact that "experts" think there's 13 other teams better than these ladies, is laughable. Not perfect, but damn, they know how to play basketball. CTM will very rarely ever get outcoached. CULTURE! Roster management, player development, substitutions, and modern day basketball with traditional low post/inside out offense. Been the best show in Bloomington for many years now.

So owning a construction company, I'm sure every personnel/business decision you've made, has been 100% accurate? I'm sure if you did some anonymous internal polling of employees, you'd be surprised at how many of them don't agree with every decision you've made! Yet the "ole" man made the decision anyway. Woody has made the tournament both years, put 2 guys in the league, has won 65% of his games, is 3-1 vs PU, and recruited well. How was your company doing after 2 1/3 years?
