  1. So, it's ok to hire a football coach who's 62, but our basketball coach is too old? Make it make sense!
  2. LSU wbb is a mess
  3. You do realize in the business world, CEO's and managers, leave positions all the time. The new leaders aren't just hiring new personnel. It's their job to keep things running smoothly, or make the proper adjustments. Sometimes it's not all about who you hire or fire, So far, your only arguments are, an unfortunate contract extension, and age discrimination towards our bball hire?
  4. LOL So, you're saying he's done a good job with everything, but the football program? You do realize IU football has been bad for over a century, correct?
  5. Apparently, it's the thing to do. MSU did it the other night, during their bball game.
  6. You do realize most of the other programs (men and women), under his watch, are pretty damn successful.
  7. And to have the keys to the car, and starting from scratch
  8. Plus, women's volleyball, softball, and men's baseball are all thriving. Both swimming programs seem healthy, as well. Except for the elephant in the room (football), I really like where our athletic program is right now.
  9. Sorry @Stuhoo. Didn't finish reading through the posts, until after I posted mine. I really think Kaleb is just breaking the surface of his true potential.
  10. Kaleb 4pts-8reb-3ast-3stl-3blks....0 to's He looked really confident/comfortable on the defensive end. Got beat early a couple times on some dribble drives, but this kid is earning Woody's trust. Tons of talent.
  11. What an ambassador to IU basketball
  12. They are now 8/50. A whopping 16%
  13. As long as his character is good, I might be warming up to this kid. Regardless of height, if he competes, take him. Cupps, Galloway, Newton, Davis, and Gunn next year.
  14. Sorry for being lazy, and not researching it myself. lol But are most of his attempts, inside the arc, from midrange or at the rim. Either way, those are impressive numbers.
  15. Every time we get a 6'6 athletic kid, some people think he's the next Calbert Cheaney.(see how that works) What have you seen from CJ, that merits more playing time, let alone starting?
  16. Completely irrelevant! Now, if he was a 4 or 5, sure the game has changed for them. The pg position hasn't changed much in twenty years.
  17. You talking the same Tom Coverdale that helped lead his team to a NC game? So, you're admitting the "hard nosed kid" approach does work?
  18. Gabe Cupps is the last person on the roster we need to worry about. He's one of the strongest guys on the team. He's 6'2 and played against high level competition for years. Would you say the same thing about Boogie, if we'd have landed him, at 6'2 175lbs?
