ND is not going to beat UCONN lol. T. Moren in a hard place last year at this time stating Spreen is a glue player…maybe at a level that fits her ability…but a glue player for a top program would be former all star Shade.

Big Ten will be pretty much absurdly loaded year after year. That’s why IU Ladies need to always be loaded. Z is a wildcard.

Maya Makalusky completing 4 years at IU is going to be one of the greatest of all time. As a freshman she has demonstrated physical durability and growth. Getting older and conditioning with her scoring and rebounding she has tremendous upside.

Spreen was never going to play. IU Ladies were just trying to put a team together last year and were looking for bodies.

Impact player

Lauren Hurst is a T. Moren type player. Small sample size but fg% 2’s and 3’s 48.8 percent wasting away at Tennessee system kinda get the feeling Tennessee Lady players are feeling this way. T. Moren has her name written all over this one. Of course there is already Noyan and another big time big is needed but there is room for another to fit into the mix and 3 years eligibility.

IU Ladies are one big impact player and a good wing away. However, they need to be very impactful. Not bench warmers. Then, if bench warmers/practice players or team members are added ok. Two have to be impact.

For both basketball and football (not sure about other sports) but it’s not the sport anymore. The recent new sport is called is called TRANSFER PORTAL.

Scored 12, 7 rebounds vs IU. Would not be better than what is currently at IU and not as good. If playing time became available…not to mention it…same old predicament and a struggle to get to those same statistics. iU Ladies need inside strength and power with scoring skills. ( only a couple players short of big leap)

Problems at Iowa …from suspension to injury IU Ladies may have dodged a bullet.

Actually, Lana McCarthy has some parallels with Mackenzie Holmes and is noted in an article played volleyball in high school and is athletic. McCarthy did not play vs IU in Bloomington…concussion protocol.

If that checked out that would be an excellent check mark.

Shay C. was already big ten proven. However, there are very very very few like Shay Ciezki. Shay will be greatly missed. The IU Ladies will need to retool into different game plan.

Was Shaka Smart that good of a coach or is VCU a really solid basketball tradition?

What do you do with Arek Angui Auburn transfer portal? Is it worth a chance? And does IU Ladies have a chance? IU Ladies should have a chance because she needs playing time and IU Ladies need a big and there is no doubt the coaching would be there. Win Win. 15 seats might just be worth 1 of those seats…unless there’s a difference maker lurking….not sure how she holds up physically? And if it’s for sure 90% she is not going to play it’s a pass.
