Does that mean IU football scores 6 more points, makes 1 more field goal, intercepts 1 more pass, makes 1 more fumble recovery, and defense has 1 more defensive QB sack in 2023 than 2022. I suppose that would be a hint of an upgrade.

Only if OL gives adequate protection and receivers get open and catch the ball and run and make some plays themselves.

Besides the academic inclined athletes…Are all these transfers from everywhere taking classes in virtual + computer programs…seems no grades lacking and never a concern. Regarding NIL… I am 1000% in favor of NIL. On one condition…Athlete has to give up any scholarships and or financial support from university and go on NIL plan…or be on plan to accept scholarships and or financial support no no NIL plan. Not double jeopardy.

Local antenna (not cable) channels often put on some sports junk or other junk or games located across the country that have no significance or no interest. I get it…money and pay to view.

I think there is a case to be made to televise games statewide (other universities/colleges statewide as well) …similar to what was yes, what are called ‘back in the good old days’ now. Besides IU basketball games with Chuck Marlow…Chesty potato chips sponsored some Butler games and Stokely Van Camp sponsored the Indianapolis Indians. Today, the IHSAA televises some high school games/sports. Some say lack of fan support but there is a lot of interest in COLLEGE (not pro so much) LADIES BASKETBALL without all the support, exposure and promotion compared to the men’s side. There are alot of girls, parents, old men and old women that are very interested in their respective College Ladies basketball programs. So until major tv channels quit showing all the junk and start showing Ladies college basketball games of interest I think there is a real need for locally televised college Ladies basketball games. A paradigm opportunity. Note: 105.1 radio signal gets drowned out by Hispanic music in Indianapolis area. (but 105.1 can be streamed). Austin Render does a great job and never missed a beat taking over from the guy before him who also did a great job.

I was wrong in my thinking about G. Berger return paralleling it to Holmes last year. She is really really back. Impressive. It would be good if Scalia would get double figures. Puzzling 3 point shooting…maybe climb a ladder and look down through the rims through the net to see that it really is big enough for the basketball to go through.

Forecast for scheduling…schedule with LEOing care. Louisville beats IU about 38 to 10 So IU could schedule a weaker team and still get beat by a little bit lesser amount of points. Appalachian State beats IU about 31 to 20 IU and Ball State a toss up (over/ under 34) and finally IU wins against Indiana State 31 to 7 and finally IU would score over 30 points in one game. Remember the schedule conflicts between KY and IU basketball…home and home vs off campus sites fiasco.

Looking forward to IU Ladies basketball program @ Northwestern, Sunday. Though not perfect and they play not so well at times it is a BEAUTIFUL THING.

I am sorry that this happened to this guy. I do not know him nor do the many who make comments at work or anywhere or on any kind of media. By all accounts he was one of the good guys. However, when an event like this happens to a high profile semi famous, popular, or famous individual/s society whether it’s a sports figure, actor/s, politician etc (there are many examples) whether on the job or not….much of society gets hyper focused on that event and or individual. Here is some colder hearted perspective. There are many examples of circumstances of life circumstances involving death or injury to people…the bridge worker, highway worker, construction worker, policeman/woman, firefighter/, any kind of driving or vehicle accidents, heat attack victims, the soldier and the list goes on and on that families and individual/s deal with on a daily basis…without hardly a thought other than maybe family or those close to the situation.

Well, an IU Ladies conference championship would leave no doubt. Then, turn around and win big ten tournament to confirm. Tough one.

Post game vs Nebraska assistant coach Box I think indicated very soon there was going to be addition to lineup. Plus Brown ought to be near as well.
