    I love this idea and really hope that IU goes that route. I can't see Woodson being interested in staying many more years. I would think he would consider it important to being able to help stabilize things and then be able to pass the torch to the next guy. Michigan? Did someone say Michigan. Shut your mouth!!

    I was screaming all 2nd half where in the hell is Malik. He played really well in the 1st half. High/low with malik and TJD should have been a big part of the 2nd half offense. yet he was no where to be found. Just does not make sense. I like Race and he has his moments, but Malik needs to play more

    Well obviously, we all hope this is true. But I have my doubts about the trend line changing today. But an Indiana win is always good, especially over a team we have struggled to beat for so long.

    Woodson seems like a guy that would not allow such things. And we all know that his mentor Coach Knight would not have even come close to tolerating that.

    I smell what you are cooking. But doesn't that also speak to my point as well. If things slide off the rails and this team fails to make the tournament this year then it just shows the huge mess we have? If he can get things stabilized and make the tournament then ok. But if this slide goes off the rails then there has to be change.

    Normally I would agree with you about the 3 year thing. But if things continue to slide off the rails in this basketball season with all the big expectations coming into the season there is no way they can afford to just do business as usual and move on to year 3. It just can't happen.

    One of the things I was most excited about with Coach Woodson was having Fife with him. Not happy about this at all.

    This is a site that has been tracking flights and talking about stalking airports and such ad this is what get labeled as weird? LOL

    No room for a fire thread. A lot of us may not actually be excited about this hire, but we should all be wiling to support him and see what happens. There will be plenty of time down the road to criticize the man if things go bad. In the meantime lets support him and hope he is the greatest hire ever in the history of the school.

    Alan Henderson has chimed in that he is excited as well.

    Who really knows the order Dolson had in mind. But whatever it was there is one thing for sure, it will be spun as Woodson was the guy from the start.

    I would say there is a better chance of it being Lewis. But either would make this a way better situation, so let's hope so!

    I am sure that will be the next rumor. He agreed to take over until Brad is done with the NBA. Then Woodson will have some mysterious reason to step down and enter Brad to save the day!!!

    Someone that has been successful in coaching and recruiting in college. All 3 of them bring that to a degree. I would rather it be Fife or Lewis.

    I still do not want Woodson. But if he were with a Matta or Fife that would make it a lot more tolerable.
