You have to at least give Dolson to the end of this season to decide you have no faith in him. Anything is just silly.

I think no matter what Dolson is currently thinking he is going to be very professional and stay by the word that the plan right now is to keep him. He is not going to go around and start telling everyone what his plans are. But I think it is fair to speculate from the football decision this year that he is a very deliberate thinker and he has a plan in place depending on how things shake out the rest of the year.

you are looking at it from a fans standpoint. He is looking at it from an ADs stand point. The plan *as of now* is to keep him. That was their plan starting the year. The year is not over with.

Some of you live and die too much each moment on this stuff. Of course this is the plan for right now. That is how things work. Plans change and change quickly based on a lot of things. The way things are going I would say it is very possible that plans changes. But of course that is the plan for right now.

I would think regular meetings between AD and Head coach would be rather common.

Did I really read correctly on here that Woody had to be told to go to high school tournaments and such? What in the world? More reasons why he is clearly not in the right spot. Great player. Solid NBA assistant. Good guy. But not a college basketball head coach. Chris, I am not nearly as active on here as many, but I always appreciate your posts and information. Keep up the good work and ignore any haters.

That is admirable that you think that. But it is not an objective view of the remaining games left on the schedule.

It is silly to think it needed to be losing out. If they lose the rest of the games they will still finish the season 2-8 over their last 10 games. 1 win does not make a difference.

That is true. I also must say I find it amusing how fast things have changed to Pearl being seen in a positive light here as a possible coach. The last couple go arounds he has been seen in a very negative light. It is a hard situation to not get your hopes up. But we have went through the Donovan ordeal. The Stevens ordeal. Now who is the next person to walk that path and then we end up with a less than stellar selection. I want to be positive that there is still a bright future for IU Basketball, but more and more I feel like things have passed us by and we will never be more than what we have been for the last few years. Maybe an occasional sweet 16 run, but more times than not we are a bubble team or a NIT team.

But what does this mean tho? Does that mean there is plan in place to move forward from Woodson after this season? Or is this just a "plan" for some time in the future when they finally decide to move on?
