Being presumptive on things. Being nobody has seen Newton play we so we don’t know where Newton’s place on the roster is. He’s a question mark. I do believe he was highly regarded out of HS. but coming off knee injury. We’ll have to see where HE slots in.

Believe this should read “ perceived, true or not, to be lazy”. There are probably only a select few close enough to him to “ know” if he’s lazy. Doubt they’re on this board. ( And I don’t believe he’s the right fit for IU as BB coach so not defending him)

Everybody has an off night; doubt it had any effect. And he did hit a clutch 3 near the end.

Opportunity and guarantee ARE two different things so maybe he won’t be a starter. Or maybe he will. Also, the G Leauge Unite or whatever could be considered the far end of the NBA bench so maybe he IS ok with not starting right away.

I root for IU, NOT any Individual player. When they leave IU, I don’t follow the players and really don’t care what they do. Same for the NFL OR MLB team I follow. I know the names of the players because I follow the team.

Apparently, CMW thinks we can use a wing...,..Head coach Mike Woodson has been recruiting Kopp for Indiana. “Coach Woodson has talked to me about how he really loves my game, loves that I can really shoot it and really space the floor, which he puts a premium on.

I agree, he DOES need to improve his away from the basket shooting, but maybe he is able to shoot better from outside and wasn’t able to show it last year. Time will tell.

This is the kid from Florida? Yes to this. Seemed like I read he was very good 3 pt shooter. Though, did I read he wanted to be primary scorer? That could be an issue.

Plus two open? Thought I read somewhere that Miller only was using 11 scholarships.

Actually, I think he was referring to Fife being a great player at IU. As in, well maybe great would be an exaggeration, but .....
